Dr Hassan Qadri addressing Khatam e Nubuwat Conference in Muzaffargarh

Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that the finality of prophethood is that fundamental pillar of the faith on which its whole edifice stands erected. He said that as long as the belief in the finality of prophethood is intact, the whole of the faith is preserved. He said that the Holy Prophet (pbuh), who is benefactor of mankind, is the last of the prophets and messengers of Allah and by raising him (pbuh) as the prophet, Allah Almighty culminated the process of sending prophets to the world, adding that no other messenger or prophet would come after him (pbuh). He said that the belief in the finality of the prophethood is that belief on which there is no difference of opinion among all the schools of thought in Islam.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri made these remarks while speaking at “Tajdaar e Khatam-e-Nubuwwat (pbuh)” Conference held in Muzaffargarh. Renowned religious, and political personalities, local notables and a large number of people attended the Conference.

Chairman Supreme Council said that Allah Almighty mentioned the name of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) in the Holy Quran wherever He mentioned His own Name in order to further highlight the importance of the concept of the finality of the prophethood. He said that every age of the falsehood, whether it belongs to the past or the present, is almost the same in terms of its characteristics, the vile ways it employs to attack people’s faith and deceit with the caveat that only the mode of attack changes. He said that even today the forces representing falsehood are trying their best to keep Muslims engrossed in abstract and literal discussions.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the process of guidance for mankind started with the raising of Hazrat Adam (Alayhis-salam) as prophet and came to an end with the Holy Prophet (pbuh) as the last prophet of Allah. He said that MQI is a movement for the protection of the respect of the prophethood and the belief in the finality of the prophethood, adding that we would have to be conscious of the need for protecting our ‘Iman’. He said that we should live our lives in obedience of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) by acting upon his teachings in letter and spirit in our individual and collective life. He said that we should impart this lesson to our succeeding generations as well. He said that all the prophets of Allah who came to the world in their respective ages gave this glad tidings about the Holy Prophet (pbuh) being the last prophet of Allah.

The Conference was attended by Sardar Shakir Mazari, Noor Ahmad Sahu, Rashid Qureshi, Iftikhar Qureshi Advocate, Rao Muhammad Arif Rizvi, Mufti Abdul Majeed Faizi, Nishat Ahmad Bajwa Advocate, Sheikh Habib-ur-Rahman Advocate, Hamid Mahmood Arain, Niaz Khan, Riaz Ahmad Suhrani, Mahr Ahmad Sial, Umar Hayat, Malik Shahzad Awan, Dr Rizwan, Malik Salman Awan, Allama Ishaq Saqi, Rao Sagheer Ahmad, Shoaib Bazami and others.
