MWF to set up modern slaughter houses in all major cities

Engineer Sanaullah Khan, Director Operations of Minhaj Welfare Foundation, has said that MWF has planned to set up slaughter houses in all the major cities and towns to facilitate people sacrifice their animals on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha and the meat of the slaughtered animals would be distributed among the poor and deserving. The camps for the collective sacrifice would also be established in Rojhan, Dadu, Dera Allah Yar, Shikarpur, Hasalpur, Fazalpur and other flood-affected areas.

Engineer Sanaullah Khan said that thousands of volunteers of MWF would distribute meat among the deserving and poor families to include them in happiness of the religious festival. He said that chillers have been procured to keep the meat protected from heat and ensure its timely distribution. He said that fifty administrative committees have been set up to make arrangements for collective sacrifice.

Engineer Sanaullah Khan made these remarks while talking to the meeting held in the central secretariat to review the Qurbani drive. The representatives of MWF briefed the meeting about the preparations.

Those who attended the meeting included Brig. (r ) Iqbal Ahmad Khan, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, GM Malik, Noorullah Siddiqui, Jawwad Hamid, Abdur Rehman Malik, Ishtiaq Hanif Mughal, Mansoor Qasim Awan, Shafaqat Nadeem, Ayub Ansari and others.

Engineer Sanaullah Khan further said that MWF will keep the international health standards in view at the time of setting up slaughter houses. He said the modern slaughter houses have all facilities equipped from the slaughter of animals to the packaging of meat in hygienic conditions.
