Keys of newly constructed homes distributed among flood affectees

Minhaj-ul-Quran Welfare Foundation arranged a ceremony to distribute the keys of newly constructed houses among the flood affectees. Syed Mehdi Shah, Governor of Gilgit-Baltistan, Nazir Ahmad Advocate, Speaker of the GB Assembly, MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Irfan Yousaf, Sanaullah Khan, and Shafqat Nadeem attended the ceremony as the guests of honour.

In his remarks, Syed Mehdi Shah said that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri has combined the services to religion and humanity under the one platform of Minhaj-ul-Quran. He said that MWF’s contribution to public welfare is praiseworthy, adding that he prayed to the Almighty to enable MWF to keep serving the ailing humanity.
MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that MWF has been at the service of the suffering humanity. He said that we would expand the scope of the reconstruction project, adding that service to humanity is the essence of the faith. He said that newly constructed homes have been given to the people affected by floods in Ghizer district of GB.

Director Operations Minhaj Welfare Foundation Sanaullah Khan delivered introductory remarks in which he shared the details of the welfare projects under the banner of MWF. He said that newly constructed homes are being distributed among the flood affectees in different parts of the country as part of the reconstruction project. He said that reconstruction activities continue in Sindh, South Punjab and Balochistan. He also informed the audience about the participation of MWF workers in relief and reconstruction activities in the flood-affected regions.
