Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri Praises University Growth, Welcomes New BOG Members

Shaykh-ul-Islam Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Chairman BOG, welcomed all members and shared his satisfaction over the university’s consistent growth in both academic excellence and institutional development. He appreciated the dedication of the management and faculty whose tireless efforts shaped this year’s achievements.

He also extended heartfelt gratitude to Prof. Dr. Hamid Saeed and Brigadier (Retd.) Iqbal Ahmed Khan, former BOG members, for their years of intellectual and effective contributions that played a significant role in the university’s progress. Furthermore, he warmly welcomed Meritorious Prof. Dr. M. Younus, and Advocate Muhammad Ejaz, as new BOG members. Their inclusion is expected to bring fresh perspectives and further strengthen the board’s decision-making process.

Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri presided over the meeting after welcome remarks by the Chairman BOG. He acknowledged the valuable expertise and contributions of the board members in guiding the university’s vision and expansion.

Prof. Dr. Sajid Mehmood Shahzad, Vice Chancellor, extended a warm welcome to all worthy board members and thanked them for their continued support in advancing the university’s mission.

Prof. Dr. Khurram Shahzad, Registrar, MUL, presented key university performance indicators, academic and research milestones, new initiatives, and major achievements of the year. He also outlined important agendas requiring the board’s review and approval.
