Education is the Foundation of a Peaceful Society: Allama Rana Idris Qadri

Addressing the Workers' Convention and the inaugural ceremony of the Educational Centers organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran Lahore, Deputy Secretary General of MQI, Allama Rana Muhammad Idris Qadri, stated that through the promotion of knowledge and awareness, ignorance, narrow-mindedness, and extremism can be eradicated. Education grants individuals awareness, tolerance, and a positive mindset, forming the foundation of a peaceful and balanced society.

He further mentioned that ignorance breeds prejudice, hatred, and violence, while knowledge teaches individuals how to engage in dialogue, reason, and tolerate differing opinions. An educated society is the one that possesses the capacity to halt extremist ideologies. Education is not limited to academic information but also plays a crucial role in character-building, moral development, and awakening social responsibility. He emphasized that the establishment of educational centers is one of the most urgent needs of our time and urged that as many educational centers as possible should be established throughout Lahore.

Allama Idris said that these centers of knowledge are effective means of promoting religious awareness, intellectual development, and moral reform, which play a pivotal role in connecting the new generation to religion and spreading the message of peace, love, and the promotion of knowledge at the grassroots level.

President of Minhaj-ul-Quran Lahore, Muhammad Iqbal Hussain Bajwa, said that the establishment of educational centers is at the forefront of the priorities of the Minhaj-ul-Quran Movement. He urged workers to take an active role not only in their organizational responsibilities but also in educational and training activities, as education is the foundation of a peaceful and conscious society.

Senior Deputy Director of Education and Professional Development and Supervisor of Educational Centers in Lahore, Allama Muhammad Inam Mustafavi, during his address at the Workers' Convention, stated that the educational centers are the fundamental pillars of Minhaj-ul-Quran’s educational and training mission. He explained, in a simple manner, the entire process of establishing educational centers, the administrative requirements, and how to effectively use the Minhaj 365 app. He noted that the proper use of modern technology can make the educational and outreach activities more organized and impactful.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, an Educational Center was inaugurated at Rahman Pura, Unity Road, Lahore. The inauguration was attended by local officials, workers, and a large number of residents, who viewed the establishment of these educational centers as an important step forward in the promotion of religious and educational activities.
