The Secretary General of Pakistan Awami Tehreek, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, addressing the "Fikr-e-Quaid Seminar" on the occasion of the Founder of Pakistan’s birth anniversary, has stated that even Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah's opponents acknowledged his honesty and truthfulness. He said that during the Pakistan Movement, Quaid-e-Azam traveled across the subcontinent but never took travel allowances or petrol money from the All India Muslim League fund. He used his own earned income to finance the freedom struggle of the Muslims of the subcontinent. He was a wealthy individual and had built an extravagant house in Mumbai with stone and craftsmen brought from Italy.

He said that the Quaid-e-Azam spent his personal wealth to serve the people, whereas today’s politicians exploit the national exchequer to oppress the masses. The current condition of Pakistan is a result of the corruption of politicians. The Founder of Pakistan had envisioned a country based on justice, but the politicians who came after him fueled oppression.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur further said that the first two generations who built Pakistan failed, but there is hope in the new generation to play a role in transforming Pakistan into the true Pakistan envisioned by Quaid-e-Azam.

During the seminar, Rana Waheed Shehzad, President of Minhaj Youth League, remarked that in Quaid-e-Azam's Pakistan, it has become very difficult to speak the truth. There is a stifling atmosphere of distrust, uncertainty, and fear. He said that the once prosperous Pakistan has fallen under the evil eye, but the 250 million people of this country are its protectors. He said, "Insha’Allah (God willing), things will change, and educated youth will find respectable employment and dignity within their own country."

The event was also attended by Engineer Muhammad Rafiq Najm, Jawad Hamid, GM Malik, Noorullah Siddiqui, and a large number of workers. At the conclusion of the event, a cake was cut in honor of the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, and prayers were offered for the peace and security of the country.
