Shaykh-ul-Islam Day — 75th Birthday Celebration at Minhaj ul Quran Denmark

On 17 February 2026, the 75th birthday of Huzoor Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri was celebrated with devotion and reverence under the title “Peace Day.” The blessed gathering was hosted at the central center of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Denmark and brought together European, central, and organizational office bearers and workers, along with their families.

The program opened with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by the presentation of na‘at praising the Holy Prophet ﷺ. European and central leaders shared memorable moments with Shaykh-ul-Islam and reflected on their experiences of dedication to the mission. These heartfelt reflections deeply inspired attendees, strengthening their commitment, loyalty, and practical attachment to the Peace. The participants warmly appreciated these sincere short speeches.

In his address, Qaisar Zubair Najeeb (President, Minhaj-ul-Quran International Denmark) highlighted that the joy of the occasion was twofold, as Shaykh-ul-Islam Day coincided with the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan. This convergence allows the community to receive blessings from both occasions. He underscored that true loyalty to the mission lies in implementing the organizational leadership’s decisions without hesitation and in safeguarding the public from doubts and confusion. He also emphasized the importance of unity, teamwork, and steadfastness, praying for Allah Almighty to grant everyone consistency and perseverance.

At the conclusion of the event, participants cut a cake to celebrate the 75th birthday of Shaykh-ul-Islam (may Allah protect him), followed by a exclusive dinner served to all attendees.
