The appointment of Archbishop Sarah Mullally will further promote interfaith harmony

Director of Interfaith Relations at Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Sohail Ahmad Raza, has extended his congratulations to the Moderator of the Anglican Church of Pakistan, Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. Azad Marshall, on the appointment and confirmation of Rt. Rev. Archbishop Sarah Mullally as the first female Archbishop of Canterbury and head of the Church of England.
In his congratulatory message, he stated that this appointment marks a significant milestone that will greatly contribute to fostering mutual respect and dialogue among religions worldwide.
Sohail Ahmad Raza also expressed hope that under the leadership of Archbishop Sarah Mullally, the Church of England will further promote peace, compassion, justice, interfaith harmony, and Muslim-Christian relations at the global level.
He further added that the Department of Interfaith Relations of Minhaj-ul-Quran International and Minhaj University Lahore extend their heartfelt congratulations on this important appointment and appreciate the joint efforts for strengthening interfaith relations and global peace.
