MQI Delegation Visit to the Donated Quran Initiative Launch

On Thursday, May 14th, a delegation from Minhaj-ul-Quran International Denmark attended the official launch event of the 1 Million Waqf Quran Initiative for the Danish translation of the Holy Quran, organized by the Restu Foundation, Malaysia.
The initiative represents an important effort to increase accessibility to the Quran in the Danish language and support broader engagement with its message.
During the event, the MQI delegation met with the Executive Chairman of Restu Foundation, Datuk (Dr) Abdul Latiff, along with key representatives. The MQI delegation was given an extensive tour of the exhibition, where various aspects of the initiative were presented.
Constructive discussions took place regarding potential areas of collaboration, particularly in relation to promoting Quranic education and outreach.
Following the event and upon the invitation of MQI Denmark, Datuk (Dr) Abdul Latiff and his delegation visited the MQI Headquarters in Copenhagen NV. The guests were warmly received by Director of Minhaj Education Board Denmark, Mr. Faisal Najeeb, alongside Principal of Minhaj School of Islamic Sciences Denmark, Dr. Hafiz Idrees Al-Azhari, and Qari Wallait Khan.
The delegation was given a comprehensive tour of the centre, its facilities and religious and educational activities. A key highlight of the visit was the library, where the scholarly works of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Dr. Hasan Mohiuddin Qadri and Dr. Hussain Mohiuddin Qadri, were presented, reflecting the sustained commitment to Islamic scholarship and the promotion of Quranic understanding.
On this occasion, Datuk (Dr) Abdul Latiff was presented with the Danish translation of Irfan ul Quran, which he greatly appreciated.
Datuk (Dr) Abdul Latiff also acknowledged the wider efforts of Minhaj-ul-Quran International in the fields of education and dissemination of Islamic knowledge, and indicated his interest in exploring future collaboration to advance Quranic learning and understanding.
This engagement reflects a shared commitment to strengthening efforts in Quranic education and fostering cooperation between institutions with similar goals.
