Former AJ&K Prime Minister calls on Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri, supports his agenda

President of All Jammu Kashmir Muslim Conference and former Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Sardar Attique Ahmad Khan has announced to support revolutionary agenda of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri. He appealed to other political parties to support Dr Qadri in his struggle to save the country. He said that if oppression ordered by the rulers was not stopped, the practice would continue unabated. He said that if MQI was target today, it would be turn of others tomorrow. He said that the Sharif brothers had established kingship instead of democracy in the country. He said that his party condemned the Model Town tragedy in the strongest words and believed that it was the worst example of terrorism by the Punjab Police and the massacre of innocent and unarmed civilians was a blot on the face of a society.

Former Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister expressed these views while talking to media after meeting with Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri at his Model Town residence at the head of a delegation of his party. He said that the worst state terrorism was committed by attacking the residence of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri, who is an internationally known scholar and an ambassador of peace. He said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir were sad after this deplorable incident.

Sardar Attique Ahmad Khan said that there was an important message in the revolutionary programme of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri, adding that the rulers did not do anything in the interest of the country. He said that the Pakistani Prime Minister chose to enjoy the company of the Indian actors than mention the dispute issue of Jammu and Kashmir during his visit to India. He said that instead of meeting the Kashmiri leader, the Pakistani leader was more interested in pleasing his Indian counterparts by presenting him sculpture of Gandhi. He said that Army Chief General Raheel Sharif removed disappointment of the Kashmiries by describing Kashmir as jugular vein of Pakistan. He said that the armed forces were the last ray of hope and a source of stability to Pakistan. He said that the government had money for useless projects like metro bus service but little to support IDPs in this hour of trial and tribulation.
