MQI pays tributes to Shaykh-ul-Islam on translation of the Holy Quran in English
A Standing Committee of Minhaj-ul-Quran International has congratulated Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri on the completion of the translation of the Holy Quran in English language directly from Arabic. The Standing Committee met here with Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri in the chair. Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur presented the resolution.
The resolution said that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri has the unique honour of translating the Holy Quran in two distinct ways: firstly, he translated the Quran directly in Urdu and now in English language under the title of "The Manifest Quran". He said one of the attributes of the translation is that it is simple and employs an understandable way of narration.
The launching ceremony of the Quranic translation will take place in August 2023 on the occasion of Al-Hidayah Camp in the UK to be followed by another ceremony in Pakistan.
