Minhaj-ul-Qur’an Malaysia Signs MoU with Nasyrul Quran for Distribution of 200,000 Qur’an Translations

Kuala Lumpur: Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of Minhaj-ul-Qur’an International, presided over a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Minhaj-ul-Qur’an Malaysia and Nasyrul Quran, marking an important milestone in promoting the dissemination of the Holy Qur’an translated by His Eminence Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.
The MoU formalised the handover of 200,000 copies of the Qur’an translation by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri to Minhaj-ul-Qur’an Malaysia. These copies will be distributed in seven different languages, aiming to promote a broader understanding of the Qur’anic message across diverse linguistic and cultural communities.
The ceremony was attended by prominent Malaysian leaders and senior representatives of the Restu Foundation and Nasyrul Quran, including Datuk (Dr.) Abdul Latiff B. Mirasa, Executive Chairman of Restu Foundation and CEO of Nasyrul Quran; YB Datuk Dr. Hj. Ahmad bin Hj. Maslan, Deputy Minister for Road Works, Federal Government of Malaysia and Deputy Chairman of Restu Foundation; and Datuk Hj. Mohd Asyaharim bin Dato Abdul Latiff, CEO of Restu Foundation.
Also present were Tan Sri Asih Che Mat and Datuk Hj. Ishak bin Hj. Muhamad, Board Directors of Restu Foundation, along with Tun Raus, Former Chief Justice of Malaysia and Board Director, Restu Foundation.
From Minhaj-ul-Qur’an International, the ceremony was attended by Abdul Rasool Bhatti, President Minhaj Asian Council; Faisal Hussain, Managing Director Minhaj Welfare Foundation; Muhammad Iqbal Janjua, Senior Vice President Minhaj Malaysia; Ali Raza, President Minhaj Malaysia; Mian Muhammad Wasiq, President Minhaj Australia; and Amjad Raza, General Secretary Minhaj Malaysia.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri highlighted the importance of spreading authentic Qur’anic teachings through reliable translations and emphasized the role of collaborative efforts in promoting peace, understanding, and ethical values. The exchange of commemorative gifts symbolised mutual respect and the strengthening of institutional ties.
