MWF to hold children's 'Flood Relief Walk'

Hundreds of children would hold a walk today (Thursday) on The Mall to express solidarity with the flood affected children. The 'Flood Relief Walk' would commence from Assembly Hall under the banner of Minhaj Welfare Foundation. Afterwards, these children would visit different markets and collect relief fund. According to the UN assessment, about 3.5 million children face the prospect of starvation, and outbreak of epidemics if no timely action is taken by the world community. The walk is an attempt at spreading awareness among the people and making substantial monetary contributions to the fund raised by Minhaj Welfare Foundation.
