Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri condemns attack on the shrine of Baba Farid-ud-Din Ganj-e-Shakar (R.A)
Noting that the attack on the revered shrine of Baba Farid-ud-Din Ganj-e-Shakar (R.A) comes in a row after suicide bombings on the shrines of Data Sahib and Abdullah Shah Ghazi, he said that the government has failed to identify and apprehend the perpetrators of these crimes and it has emboldened the terrorists to undertake more strikes on shrines of the Sufis. He warned the government that continuation of these attacks would ignite the sectarian fires which would be unfortunate. Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed souls in peace and give patience to their respective families to bear the loss of their near and dear ones.
Meanwhile, Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Sahibzada Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi and Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz have also expressed their deep grief and sorrow over the loss of innocent lives in the attack.
