MSM (Sisters) holds Introductory Workshop 2011

An organizational workshop entitled “Introductory Workshop” was arranged by MSM (Sisters) on Saturday, 15th October 2011. The aim was to introduce Mustafavi Students Movement (Sisters), its objectives, and the activities among different categories of female students in Lahore. The purpose was also to maintain a proper organizational structure of MSM (Sisters) in Lahore. About 90 students from different educational institutions of Lahore participated.

The proceedings got underway with the recitation from the Holy Quran. Qurat-ul-Ain (MSM coordinator Wahga town) recited verses from Holy Quran. Ayesha Qadri (MSM coordinator Cantonment town) presented a beautiful Na’at. Ms Afnan Babur, Naib Nazima Tarbiat conducted the proceedings. Ms Shakira Chaudhry, Markazi Nazima MSM, delivered a welcome address and thanked the students for their participation.

The documentary “The message of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir ul Qadri” was shown to the students.

Ms Shakira Chaudhry, explained how MSM (Sisters) as different from other religious organizations. She threw light on the aims and objectives of MSM (Sisters) and urged the students to create unity in their ranks.

Senior Naib Nazim-e-Aala MQI Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz explained the word “Mustafavi”, and the responsibilities and requirements of being a ‘Mustafavi’. He welcomed all the students and illustrated the importance of joining the MSM (Sisters) platform.

Nazim-e-Aala MQI Dr Raheeq Ahmed Abbasi, delivered a lecture on “Evolution of mankind, and Islam is the religion of all times”. He said that MSM (Sisters) was the inheritor of message and mission of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. He said that Shaykh-ul-Islam was promoting the real teachings of Islam in the world. “The multidimensional contributions of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri to the establishment of peace, promotion of interfaith harmony, welfare and education have been acknowledged at the global level. He has rightly been given the title of Ambassador of Peace by the world community for his splendid role in bringing different cultures and civilizations together on a common platform of humanity and shared values,” he added.

Dr Abbasi further said that Peace for Humanity Conference 2011, which was held in London, attracted a large following of different religions and faiths under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. The faith leaders who belonged to all key religions of the world vowed to join their forces with Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri to promote peace and eliminate intolerance, extremism and immoderation from the world. He reminded the students of their responsibility to organize themselves to play their due role in this regard. He said that MQI was representative of people of every age group and profession. “MQI and Shaykh-ul-Islam are mainly focused on the youth and students because it is upon their shoulders that heavy responsibility of protecting the faith rests. MQI is working hard to remove youths’ confusions and engaging them productively to promote the Islamic message of peace and harmony in the world”, he stated.
