MYL Nelson Participate in MHCC Event

On Sunday the 8th of July the sisters of Muslim Youth League (MYL) Nelson participated in a community event organised by Marsden Heights Community College (MHCC). People from the community and other various organisations also took part to create awareness of the new school and build bridges within the community.
The sisters of Muslim Youth League (MYL) Nelson held an information stall which offered information about Minhaj-ul-Qur`an International (MQI), its different branches such as Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF), an introduction to Shaykh-ul-Islam, local activities, booklets, English DVD`s of Shaykh-ul-Islam and also a presentation of the Mosque Open Day.

The Muslim Youth League (MYL) provided information and answered questions of the local community as they came to visit the stall.  Free hand outs with information about Minhaj-ul-Qur`an International (MQI) were also distributed and donations were collected for the Pakistan Cyclone Appeal.

Along side the MYL stall were stalls of the Police Service, Fire brigade, local shops, food stalls organised by the Marsden Heights students, PCN (Pendle Community Network); and different activities for various ages.

Alhamdulillah, it was a great event and a great opportunity to promote the true light of Islam and Minhaj-ul-Qur`an International (MQI).

We hope to inshAllah participate in more similar events to promote the true light and love which Islam shows us through the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet Sallallahu alayhi
