Okara: Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri addresses a training session at Haveli Lakha

During his speech, the Chairman Supreme Council emphasized that a true companion is one enriched with character, embodying generosity, adhering to the teachings of the Quran, and living a life modeled on the Sunnah and example of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Such a person devotes their life to worship, piety, and obedience to Allah. Allah has identified them as the Prophets, the Truthful, the Martyrs, and the Righteous—those who are considered the best companions. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) also advised seeking the company of the pious and allowing only righteous and God-fearing individuals to share one’s meals.
Highlighting the significance of good companionship, Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri
elaborated that finding virtuous friends, connections, and affiliations leads one
closer to the path of Allah. He explained that Sheikh-ul-Islam Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri,
founder of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, coined the term "Rafiq" (companion) for
those dedicating their lives to the cause of Allah and humanity. A true “Rafiq”
is gentle, meeting others with kindness and joy, resolving their issues, and serving
humanity.
Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri stressed that Sheikh-ul-Islam seeks not only companions
in name but those with impeccable character. A true companion, he said, should be
an embodiment of piety, cleanliness, and adherence to Quranic and Prophetic teachings.
Such individuals must build relationships through sincerity and excellent morals,
reflecting the mission of Minhaj-ul-Quran. He urged the attendees to commit to spreading
goodness and refraining from causing harm or discomfort to others, as this aligns
with the mission of Minhaj-ul-Quran.
The Chairman of the Supreme Council maintained that Minhaj-ul-Quran International is a movement aimed at producing benefactors for society and fostering a community of true believers. He expressed concern over the harmful effects of friendships formed through social media, such as TikTok and Instagram, and encouraged forming bonds that not only benefit in this world but also in the hereafter. He advised using social media for spreading goodness and inspiration, making one’s presence a source of moral and spiritual upliftment.
Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri noted that Allah instills love in the hearts of His servants for those He loves, and associating with righteous people leads to success. MQI is a prophetic-like movement of this era, connecting people to goodness and guiding them towards spreading positive values in society. It instills concern for the afterlife and offers solutions to life's challenges through divine guidance and Prophetic love.
Addressing the people of Okara, Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri called MQI a great blessing, a movement that teaches the path of righteous people, prepares families and societies for the afterlife, and ensures success in both worldly and eternal examinations. He urged them to join this century's revivalist movement to safeguard their faith and that of future generations. He emphasized that aligning with the vision of Sheikh-ul-Islam guarantees everlasting welfare and prosperity.
In conclusion, Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri prayed for Allah Almighty to accept their gathering and their efforts for the cause of Islam.
