Mansehra: Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri Delivers a Spiritually Uplifting Address

Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Professor Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, delivered a spiritually inspiring address at the Ziafat-e-Milad ﷺ (Mawlid Banquet) held at Eden Marquee, Mansehra.
In his address, he said that through 45 years of scholarly and intellectual struggle by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Minhaj-ul-Quran has today become a global movement with its roots spread across dozens of countries around the world. The fruits of this movement are being realized in the form of knowledge, peace, love, and service to the entire Muslim Ummah.
He stated that the educational, intellectual, and welfare institutions established at Minhaj-ul-Quran’s central headquarters in Lahore are engaged in the spiritual and intellectual service of the Muslim community. Out of more than 1,000 books authored by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri, over 650 have been published, and doctoral-level research is being conducted on his scholarly contributions in various universities worldwide.
In response to a question, Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri remarked, “The oceans that appear calm are often the deepest.” He emphasized that rather than indulging in criticism, one should convey a positive message through one’s character and actions. Minhaj-ul-Quran is bringing positive change in society through knowledge, awareness, and service to humanity.
He said that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri made the youth the central focus of his mission. If today’s youth are disconnected from their purpose in life, it is due to the lack of moral and character training in the current education system. Minhaj University Lahore is filling this gap by providing students not only with academic knowledge but also with moral, intellectual, and Prophetic (Mustafavi) training.
Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri concluded by saying that the mission of Minhaj-ul-Quran is to promote knowledge, love, unity, and devotion to the Holy Prophet ﷺ — a message that can bind the Ummah together in harmony and brotherhood.
The ceremony was attended by Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Nisar Ahmad Sulaimani, Member of National Assembly Shehzada Gushtasb, SSP Muhammad Suleman, Director MDA Muhammad Arshad Abbasi, EXN Syed Shafaqat Hussain Shah, DFO Syed Abdullah Shah, along with religious scholars, social figures, and a large number of distinguished local dignitaries.
