Peace is a shared message of all religions: Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri

The essential message of every religion is peace. No religion recommends violence, terrorism and extremism to browbeat others into submission. Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, founding leader of MQI and chairman of Pakistan Awami Tehreek, expressed these views in his special Christmas message. Felicitating the Christian community on the religious festival of Christmas, he said that terrorists had no religion. "We would have to understand and accept each other with open arms and wholeheartedly. It is through spreading God's message based on love that we can establish and promote peace in the world," he said. Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri maintained that followers of all religions i.e. Islam, Christianity, and Hinduism etc were on the same page for the integrity and security of Pakistan.
