Addressing the youth who came from the various parts of the UK and Europe to attend two-day Al-Hidayah camp on the second day in Manchester, MQI founding leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that knowledge, good deeds, and good intentions open the doors towards progress. He said that knowledge without deeds/action is of no use and if knowledge is complemented by action and one has good intentions, then such a life can be regarded as successful and productive one.
Manchester (UK): Al-Hidayah 2019 - (Al-Rihla Wal Sohba)
Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that the Pakistani expatriate community living in the US, the UK, and Europe are ambassadors of peace and are playing their due role in the promotion of interfaith harmony and tolerance.
A conference was held at the central secretariat of MQI on the topic of 'Role of the Sufis in the establishment of a moderate society' to mark the death anniversary of Hazrat Pir Sayyiduna Tahir Allauddin Al-Qadri Al-Gillani (R.A), the spiritual patron of MQI. Sayyid Ahmad Noor-ud-Din Gillani al-Qadri presided over the conference.
A 30-day moral training course held under the banner of College of Shariah and Islamic Sciences concluded. MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur was the guest of honor on the occasion. Addressing the ceremony , he said that the religious seminaries will have to change their syllabus and the mode of teaching in line with the contemporary requirements with the objective of eradicating sectarianism and unifying the divided people.
The 8-volume Quranic Encyclopedia authored by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri in Urdu originally has been translated in English. The launching ceremony of the English version of the Encyclopedia will take place in Manchester on August 4 under the banner of the MQI (UK). Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will be the guest of honour and will deliver a keynote speech.
A blood camp was arranged in the central secretariat with the joint cooperation of MQI and Red Crescent Pakistan in which the PAT and MQI workers gave blood donations. Addressing the ceremony held in this connection, Red Crescent Pakistan representative Dr Fozia said that 450 children suffering from Thelemsia are registered.
The British Institute of Peace (BIP) held a Peace Dialogue event at the Hilton Hotel in Manchester with chief guest Governor Ridwan Kamil from Indonesia. The participants came from diverse backgrounds, ethnicities and religions which made it a practical example of interfaith harmony.

The 'Qul' and prayer ceremony of Director Finance (MQI) Adnan Javed, who is the nephew of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri was held here at the central secretariat on July 2. Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Sahibzada Dewan Ahmad Masood Chishti, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur and the member members of late Adnan Javed attended the ceremony.
The funeral prayer of the Muhammad Adnan Javed (Director Finance MQI), who is the nephew of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, was offered in Minhaj University Lahore at 7 am on Monday morning. Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri led the funeral prayer of Adnan Javed.
