The inaugural ceremony of the Quranic Encyclopedia was held in a local hotel in Islamabad on April 27. Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri was in attendance to deliver his keynote address. Senior MQI leader Rana Muhammad Idrees was also present on the occasion.

MQI Gujranwala chapter held a Quran Conference on April 25 in which the Quranic Encyclopedia compiled by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri was inaugurated. Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri attended the Conference on special invitation and delivered his keynote speech. The central leaders of MQI who participated in the ceremony included Mazhar Mahmood Alvi, Irfan Yousaf, local religious scholars Sahibzada Maqsood Ahmad Kayani, Allama Sahibzada Umair Ahmad Farooqi, Allama Farhan Ahmad Sanai.
MQI Sanglahill chapter organized Milad ceremony on April 22, 2019. Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri was invited to the programme on special invitation and delivered his speech. Sayyid Musharraf Ali Shah, Raja Zahid Mahmood, Qazi Faiz-ul-Islam and other central leaders were present on the occasion. The members of Minhaj Naat Council had the honour to recite Naat. A large number of the people of the area attended the programme.
Addressing the spiritual gathering, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the Holy Prophet (SAW) stated that when the 15th of Sha'ban comes, the believers should pray at night, fast during the day, because with the sunset, Allah Almighty pays His attention to the world and asks as to who is out there looking for His forgiveness, sustenance and comfort during the ailment and this continues till the dawn.
A delegation of international scholars call on Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri
A delegation of scholars belonging to South Africa, Sri Lanka, Cuba, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda that is on a visit to Pakistan on the invitation of International Islamic University called on Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri at the central secretariat.

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri reached the holy city of Madina after attending two-day OIC meeting where he offered Friday prayers and prayed for peace, unity, and progress of the Muslim world and prosperity of Pakistan. He is in Saudi Arabia in connection with performance of Umrah. Chairman of MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri and Dr Ghazala Hassan Qadri are also with Dr Qadri.
A delegation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry UK called on MQI President Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri the other day. The delegation was led by Amjad Butt, president of the Chamber. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that there is a lot of scope of investment in the field of Islamic banking and Halal food.

Minhaj-ul-Quran International Denmark gifted the Quranic Encyclopedia to Shaykh Muhammad Abul Huda al-Yaqoubi (Syrian Islamic Scholar), Shaykh Dr. Asmat Mojaddedi (son of Shaykh Sibghatullah Mojaddedi), Shaykh Abdul Wahid Pedersen (Danish Imam) and Shaykh Waseem Hussain (Imam, Danish Islamic Center).
