A grand “Mawlid-un-Nabi ﷺ Banquet” was held in honor of the business community at the central secretariat, organized by the Public Relations department of Minhaj-ul-Quran and Awami Traders Alliance. The event was attended by scholars from abroad, leaders of various trade associations from across the city, industrialists, and shopkeepers in large numbers.
A grand “Milad Feast” was held at the central secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International in celebration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), organized by Aghosh Complex.
Deputy Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Engineer Muhammad Rafiq Najm, while addressing a Milad Feast held on 3rd Rabi-ul-Awwal under the auspices of the College of Shariah and Islamic Sciences, said that the celebration of the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) began in his own lifetime.
A delegation of leaders from Tehreek Minhaj-ul-Quran and Awami Tajir Ittehad met with Governor Punjab, Sardar Saleem Haider. The delegation invited the Governor to attend Minhaj-ul-Quran’s 42nd International Mawlid Conference, which he graciously accepted.
Speaking at the grand torch-bearing rally organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran Lahore (Aziz Bhatti Town) to mark the arrival of the blessed month of Rabi-ul-Awwal, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Professor Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, said that Rabi-ul-Awwal is the sacred month of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The founder and patron-in-chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, congratulated the entire Muslim Ummah on the blessed occasion of the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) birth during the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal.
As per tradition, with the beginning of the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal, all buildings associated with MQI have been illumined with decorative lights. It includes the central secretariat, Gosha-e-Durood, Jamy Shaykh-ul-Islam (Mosque), College of Shariah and Islamic Sciences, Minhaj College for Women, other related institutions and adjoining streets have been decorated with bulbs and lights.
A special intellectual session on the topic of Seerat-e-Mustafa (PBUH) and Mawlid-un-Nabi (PBUH) was organized by the Minhajians Forum. Scholars who graduated from the College of Shariah and Islamic Sciences participated in the session and presented research papers on books authored by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri on the life of the Prophet (PBUH) and the Mawlid.
A delegation from Toaha Foundation UK, comprising Mr. Muhammad Rafique Tahir (Head of Pakistan Chapter) and Mr. Toaha Qureshi (Chairman), held a detailed and fruitful meeting with Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Deputy Chairman BoG MUL & President MQI.
