(2) All officers directly or indirectly involved in the Model Town tragedy should leave their jobs till the final conclusion of the case and (3) a neutral and powerful JIT on the pattern of Panama JIT should be constituted to investigate the Model Town massacre.

Addressing a hurriedly called press conference, PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has demanded that the principal accused in the Model Town case namely Rana Sanaullah and Shahbaz Sharif should be arrested and those of the accused who were not summoned in the private complaint proceedings should be summoned and apprehended, stating whether the courts accept their bail or not is the job of the courts.
The Punjab government suffered a major setback on Tuesday as a larger bench of the Lahore High Court (LHC) rejected its petition, challenging a single bench’s decision to release the report of a judicial inquiry carried out into the Model Town incident. It directed the government to immediately make the report public and provide the copies of the report to the victims of the Model Town incident.

The ceremony started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Shaikh Waleed. After recitation, the students of Minhaj Weekend Learning Academy gave beautiful presentations. Tajdar e Khatm-e-Nubuwwat ﷺ Conference will take place tonight on the sprawling lawns of historic Minar-e-Pakistan to mark the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Addressing Tajdar-e-Khatm-e-Nubuwwat ﷺ Conference, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, founding leader and patron-in-chief of MQI, has said that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was sent as the prophet of mercy for the whole mankind. He protected the rights of the oppressed, the orphans, the weak and the poor. He did not exact revenge on anyone for his person but did not forgive any oppressor in support of the oppressed.
