By the Grace of Almighty Allah (SWT) and His Beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), Minhaj-ul-Quran Youth League (The Hague) organized a course on the Tafseer of the Holy Quran. The interpretation of 9 Surahs was completed in 4 weeks. Since the target audience were youth brothers and sisters, the course was given in Dutch language.
With the grace of Allah Almighty, Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League organized a gathering of Martyrs’ Conference Held under the supervision of President MWL Rana Khan. The proceedings of the programme got underway with recitation from the Holy Quran by Sana Shafiq. Sister Rabia Awan translated the Quranic verses. Sister Shama Baseer recited Hamd and Sabra recited Qaseeda Burda Sharif in a moving voice that moved hearts.

On behalf of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Shaykh Rehan Raza Al-Azhari met with head of 51 Brigade Gary Deakin to discuss a number of issues at the Army Headquarters in Sterling. Shaykh Rehan started by introducing Minhaj-ul-Quran International and Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and the work that is being carried out at global level for the betterment of humanity.
Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, president of MQI Federal Council, who is on an organizational tour of Italy, attended a ‘Pegham Imam Hussain (alayhi as-salām) Conference’ held under the banner of MQI Italy. A large number of people belonging to various walks of life including the members of the Diaspora community were present on the occasion. Dr Hussain delivered his keynote speech at the conference.
Minhaj-ul-Quran Ulama Council organized a three-day Circle of Hadith Sciences (Dawra Uloom al-Hadith) that was the reminiscent of the academic, intellectual and research gatherings used to be held in Samarqand, Bukhara, Nishapur and Baghdad during the middle ages. Three-day Circle of Hadith Sciences was massively attended by religious scholars, hadith-scholars, professors of different universities and colleges, doctors, lecturers, teachers and students across the country.

Addressing the Conference, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA), the son of Hazrat Fatima-tuz-Zahra (RA) and the favorite grandson of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), along with his family members and companions, chronicled a chapter of bravery and service to Islam by rendering the supreme sacrifice of their lives. He said that the great Imam (RA) provided longevity to the faith of his grandfather by giving his blood.
On Saturday 7th October 2017, a Peace Education Programme workshop and seminar was held in Manchester at the MWF Head Office on the topic of peace, counter-terrorism and community cohesion for the North region. Few learning aims of the workshop were to assist members of Minhaj-ul-Quran International within the North to obtain a clear and consistent understanding of the issue of (so-called Islamic) radicalization and a basis for coming up with effective solutions to the problem; the importance (and definition of) ideology (especially in relation to violent extremism.

Everyone who had performed Hajj this year was invited and this way a beautiful mehfil was created to congratulate them for the blessed chance they got.

Minhaj-ul-Quran Dallas organized the Ulma Conference in the remembrance of the Martyrdom of Sayyiduna Imam Hussain (alayhi as-salām) on Saturday, Sept 30, 2017, in the Uways al-Qarani Auditorium of Minhaj-ul-Quran Community Center.
The annual Shuhada-e-Karbala Conference was held on the night of 10th Muharram at Jamia Masjid Minhaj-ul-Quran, Nelson. The main guest speaker was Maulana Hanif Saqi. The event was arranged between Maghrib and Isha and was well attended by local worshippers, Naat Khwans and other respected guests.
Minhaj-ul-Quran International Bahrain organized “Shahdat-e-Imam Hussain (A.S) conference” on 10th Muharram, 1439 AH (30th September 2017) at residence of Mr. Ashraf Bhinder (Ameer MQI Bahrain) in remembrance of Shahadat e Imam Hussain (A.S) and his companions in Karbala. The program started with recitation of the holy Quran by Mr. Qari Haq Nawaz followed by recitation of Naat Shareef and Manqabat e Ahl e Bayt. Mr. Sajjad Hassan Qadri Mujadidi, Ijaz Ahmed and others recited naat Shareef and Manqabat.

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will address “Shahadat-e-Imam Husayn (alayhi as-salām) Conference” in the central secretariat to be organized under the banner of MQI on the 9th of Moharram on Saturday. Religious scholars, Mashaykh and intellectuals belonging to different walks of life and schools of thought will attend the Conference.
