MYL India organized Mawlid-un-Nabi Conference on the 25th of October 2016 in Bengaluru. The program started with recitation of of Qur'an Sharif by Abul Hasan and then Qaseeda Burdah Sharif was recited by Telanagana Naat council team headed by Brother Shafi Qadri.
Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Bahrain Chapter, organised Shahadat Imam-e-Hussain (R.A.) Conference on 10th of Moharram to mark the occasion of the Great Shahadat of Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his companions. The program was scheduled in two sessions. Quran Khawani (Recitation of Holy Quran) was held in first session where the attendees recited Holy Quran for Isaal-e-Sawab to the Great Martyrs.
Attending the three-day International Sirah Conference in Jordan, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the religious scholars, jurists and Muftis can play an important role to bridge the gap in the Muslim world. He said that the fires of sectarianism and hatred are being fanned under a political strategy with an objective to drive more wedges. He said that conspiracy is afoot to undermine the Islamic world politically, economically and military power of the Islamic countries.

He said that blood which the workers shed for revolution will not go in vain. He said that the sacrifices of the workers will certainly bear fruit, adding that blood of martyrs is a debt on the party and we will not budge from our demand of Qisas.

Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman Supreme Council of MQI, delivered a lecture on the topic ‘To Integrate or Not to Integrate’ in Melbourne, an event organized by MQI & ISRA this evening. Dr Hassan Qadri initiated his lecture by defining a few terms in relation to his lecture which were isolation, assimilation or annihilation and integration. Dr. Hassan said that integration is an act and a process of bringing people of different religious or ethnic group into an equal association, which leads towards a concept of multicultural society.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman Supreme Council, MQI, delivered his keynote lecture at “Third Australian Conference on Islam” in Melbourne yesterday. He said that Islamic ideology is based on knowledge, peace, forbearance and tolerance and there is no space for terrorism and extremism in it. He said that it is not just Islam, no religion of the world allows taking the life of innocent people.
Shaykh-ul-Islam to address 'Paygham e Imam e Hussain (AS) Conference' | 11th Oct 2016
In his special message on the Ashura, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, patron-in-chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, has said that the character of the Prophet's Family is a beacon of light for all the movements that are waging struggle against injustice and oppression. He said that the essential message of Karbala is to never give in to the forces of falsehood, evil and oppression.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri addressed ‘Paygham e Imam e Hussain (AS) Conference’ at the central secretariat on the night of Ashura and said that two kinds of character emerged after the martyrdom of Imam e Hussain (AS): Yazidiyat, which is a metaphor of oppression, violation of human rights, wretchedness, exploitation and bloodshed and Hussainiyat, which is a symbol of love, peace, forbearance, patience, justice and protection of rights of humanity.
During the month of Muharram, Minhaj-ul-Quran International held ten consecutive days of mahfils at Jamia Masjid Minhaj-ul-Quran, Nelson. These daily mahfils were attended by local Naat Khawans and incorporated Tilawat, Naats, Manqabat and a short speech to discuss the events of Karbala and the esteemed sacrifice made by Hazrath Imam e Hussain and their companions. The mehfils were arranged between Maghrib and Isha prayers.

The program took place on the 10th of October on the 10th of Muharram. Approximately 250 people including children, ladies and gents attended the Conference in remembrance of Hazrat Imam e Hussain (RA) and to pay tribute to him.
Minhaj-ul-Quran Community Center Dallas, Texas USA organized a blessed gathering in the Remembrance of Shahadat-e-Imam Hussain (RA) on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Uways Al-Qarani Auditorium. People of all ages attended the program with religious zeal and fervor. There were two MCs of the program; Minhaj Youth League Brothers Aly and Zohair who conducted the program with eloquence and maintained the balance of the program well.
A seminar on the life and personality of Sayyida Zaynab (AS) was held at the central secretariat with the collaboration of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League and Khana-e-Farhang Iran. Central MWL President Farah Naz presided over the seminar, whereas Mrs. Bani Asadi and Mrs. Akbar Barkhordari from Iran were the guests of honour. Former Federal Minister Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, PML-Q leader Amina Ulfat, MPA Saadia Sohail Rana, Imamia Student leader Sajeela Moazzam, Sameena Ahmad, Dr Samar Fatima and other women leaders attended the seminar.
A ceremony was held in Lahore to mark the International Day of Peace which was presided over by Bishop Sebastian Francis, whereas Sohail Ahmad Raza, Director Minhaj-ul-Quran Interfaith Relations and James Chanun were the chief guests. The Peace Day event was attended by faith leaders and people in large number.
