On Friday, 24th January 2014, Jamia Masjid Minhaj-ul-Quran held a Mehfil-e-Milaad for the young girls who attend the centre on a daily basis. The conference, which was a great success, has become an annual tradition in the mosque. The programme was hosted by two senior students, Alisha Ahmed and Nimra Khan.

Alhumdulillah, the Minhaj-ul-Quran Halifax team believes in 'United we stand, divided we fall'. With this mind, the Minhaj-ul-Quran Halifax team has been very active in organising itself and analysing situations together in order to further promote MQI activities and offer what is needed to the community. By the grace of Almighty Allah and the blessings of the Beloved Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW), Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League (Canada) celebrated the 13th annual Mawlid-un-Nabi (SAW) Conference for sisters in Toronto on January 19, 2014. This was the first annual Mawlid event organized under the newly elected team led by Razia Syeda, President, and Shabana Moghul, General Secretary.
Annual Milad-un-Nabi Conference was organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran Educational and Cultural Center, New Jersey on Jan 18, 2014.The ceremony started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Khalid Saeed and Hafiz Tanveer Ahmed. After recitation, beautiful naats were presented by M Asghar Chishti of New York, Mazhar Ali, Tariq Malik, M Asghar Chaudhry, Manzoor Ilahi and Saleem Sheikh.
On 18th January 2014, (16th Rabi ul Awal), an amazing Milad Conference took place in Halifax. The programme was organized by Minhaj Women League and Youth Sisters of Halifax. The programme was attended by 550 women and young girls.The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Sister Nahid, MWL President and sister Iffat, General Secretary.
The program commenced with the recitation from the verses of the Holy Quran by Sister Tayba. Then, a number of sisters presented nasheeds in the court of Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H). Sister Amna Ajmal delivered a brief but a comprehensive speech about the reality of Mawlid. She said that the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) has celebrated the birth of Prophet Mausa (RA), so why shouldn’t we celebrate the birth of our Prophet (P.B.U.H)?
Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League (UK) celebrated the 26th anniversary of MWL Foundation Day in Manchester. MWL chapters from all over the North and Midlands attended this auspicious event.

Children gathered to celebrate special Milaad Mehfil for children at MQI Birmingham on 15th of January 2014.The event was hosted by our talented 13 year old girl Fiza Andalib. The programme started with Quranic recitation by Javeria and Zara. Nasheeds were recited by lovely group of children.
Hundreds of thousands of people attend Milad Conference despite severe weather
On Friday 14th March 2014, Jamia Masjid Minhaj-ul-Quran held a Husn-e-Qiraat Competition and monthly ‘Giyarvee Sharif gatheirng’ for young female students who attend the education centre. The students had been preparing for the event for approximately a month, and practised regularly to perfect their recitations.
The 30th annual International Milad Conference will be held today (Monday) at the historic Minar-e-Pakistan. All arrangements have been completed in this regard. The hundreds of thousands of people will attend the Conference from across Lahore city only, while the millions of faithful will express their love of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) by attending Milad gatherings in their respective cities throughout the country. Shaykh-ul-Islam will deliver his keynote address through a video link from Canada. His speech will simultaneously be broadcast live from Canada in Lahore and across 250 cities of the country.
The 30th annual International Mawlid-un-Nabi Conference of MQI was held at Minar-e-Pakistan in addition to gatherings held at 250 cities of Pakistan. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri addressed these gatherings via video link which consisted of millions of men, women and children. Under the aegis of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Bangalore, India, witnessed the biggest congregation of the country. The whole speech was broadcast live by ARY Zauq, QTV and Minhaj.tv.

The thousands of people congregated on a cold and chilly night in Mangla to pay their tributes to the holy Prophet (peace be upon him).
