Under the aegis of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Denmark, the Peace Walk proceeded from the suburban part of the capital, through the main street and shopping district of Copenhagen, and finally climaxed at the Central Town Square, “Rådhuspladsen”. Carrying torches and defying the extreme cold temperatures, men, women, and children turned up in huge numbers to mark the blessed occasion with the message of peace, tolerance, and peaceful co-existence.
On the New Year’s Eve, when most people prefer to go to the city to view the firework celebrations and attend parties, Muslim Youth League organised a spiritual gathering at Minhaj-ul-Quran International(London) to start the year with the remembrance of Allah (SWT) and demonstrate love for Holy Prophet (SAW).

On New Year’s Eve of 2014, MYL-Sisters in Halifax held their annual new year Dhikr and Halqa-e-Darood at 10.30 pm at Minhaj Education centre; to commence the year with the blessings of Remembrance of Allah Almighty & His Beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The sisters from Halifax and Huddersfield participated in this blessed gathering and together entered the New Year whilst in Remembrance of Allah Almighty.
LAHORE: Hundreds & Thousands of people flocked to Lahore’s Nasir Bagh to join Pakistan Awami Tehreek’s gathering against corruption, inflation, deteriorating law-and-order in the city, SAMAA reported. PAT Dr. Muhammed Tahir-ul-Qadri will the rally through a video link from abroad. “The government brought into circulation the currency notes worth Rs.1000 billion; this forced the citizens of Pakistan to buckle under the massive juggernaut of inflation,” the Patron-in-chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Dr. Qadri asserted while addressing a press conference through a video-link yesterday.
Pakistan Awami Tehreek leader Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that authoritarianism of the political elite holds sway in Pakistan. He said that there is no democracy in the country and what is often described as democracy by the vested interests is ‘majbooriyat’ to put it mildly. He said that this oppressive system is taking away from people their right to life. He said that his peaceful and democratic revolution would be guided by Article 38 of the Constitution, following which the government of the people, by the people and for the people would be established.
The 25th of December is the birthday of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founding father of Pakistan and a great statesman of his times. I congratulate the entire Pakistani nation and the members of the Pakistani community living abroad on this festive occasion. The establishment of Pakistan owes its existence to the dedicated and untiring struggle of the Quaid-e-Azam he waged for the Muslims of the sub-continent. Pitted against the combined opposition of the ruling British and the Indian National Congress, the great Quaid risked his personal comfort nay his health in his struggle to attain Pakistan on the basis of universal right to self-determination.
Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, the leader of Pakistan Awami Tehreek and founder of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, has congratulated the members of Christian community living in Pakistan as well as around the world on the auspicious occasion of Christmas. In his felicitation message, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that Christmas is an occasion of festivity that marks the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ. He said that while celebrating the festival, it is important to remember the message of peace, love and harmony espoused by Jesus Christ.
An introductory ceremony of Minhaj Education City was held in Frankfurt on December 25. Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi, Managing Director of the project, was the guest of honour at the occasion. In his briefing to the participants of the ceremony, Dr Abbasi threw light on the broad contours of the mega project. He said that Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri decided to initiate this project so that real Islamic education compatible with the modern requirements could be imparted to the youth.

Under Minhaj-ul-Quran International, the inaugural ceremony of “Aayen Deen Seekhain (Come Learn Deen)” course was held in Minhaj-ul-Quran Educational & Cultural Center Hackensack, New Jersey on December 23, 2013. The ceremony started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by young Hafiz Tanveer Ahmad, which was followed by Durood-o-Salam. After the start, young scholar from Pakistan, M Sharif Kamalvi introduced “Aayen Deen Seekhain” course.
The Muslim Youth League (UK) and Minhaj-ul-Qur’an International (Ashton) organised a three-day Spiritual Retreat at the Ashton Central Mosque from Friday 20th December to Sunday 22nd December 2013. The three days proved to be an ideal opportunity for the youth to learn about their true faith and practice. Lectures, workshops, spiritual gatherings of nasheeds and dhikr continued throughout three days.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri is conveying a message to the Muslims asking them to express their true identity and eradicate the misconceptions caused by some extreme mindsets and minority groups. The retreat aims at focusing the minds of our youth and presenting a platform accessible to them in a language and format most appropriate to them.

On 20th of December 2013, Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League held a monthly ‘Gosha e Durood’ gathering for women in Valby. The stage secretary was Maimuna Kanwal. The program began in the usual way with recitation of the Holy Quran by Farva Hussain and Mrs. Mubashira Zaheer Sahiba. Then everyone recited Durood-e-paak collectively.
