Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that Allah Almighty quenched the thirst and passion of Syedna Musa (RA) by making him see the Holy Prophet (SAW) again and again. He said that it needed to be understood that Toor could not bear the Divine Light and was demolished into piece whereas the Holy Prophet (SAW) had the honour of meeting and seeing his Lord many a time. He said that the point to be deduced from this incident is that we need to strengthen our bond with the person of the Holy Prophet (SAW) who is source of eternal blessings and spiritual favours.
On the 16th of June 2013, thanks to the Blessings of Allah Almighty, Minhaj Women League organised a programme on the occasion of the coming Layla-tul-Bara, that is to say Shabbe Barat, with the title of ‘’night of prayer’. The two sisters presenting the programme were Mrs Sadia Azam and Sabba Kashif.
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of MQI’s Supreme Council, called on Greece’s Secretary for Religious Affairs Dimtri Pirdeki on June 14 in which both leaders exchanged views on matters of mutual interest. They agreed that there was a need to increase the frequency of interaction among the followers of different religions to build greater understanding. They said that building bridges was a noble cause to which the peace loving individuals and communities must dedicate their energies.
Addressing a pre-budget seminar held in the central secretariat of Pakistan Awami Tehreek, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of PAT’s Federal Council and a distinguished economist, has said that a government, which does not represent people’s aspirations, cannot fulfill their expectations. He asked how those who could not shore up the country’s collapsing economy during last five/six years would put it on track now. He said that gradual erosion of currency could affect economy putting it in bracket of countries like Indonesia.
Shaykh ul Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir ul Qadri has appointed a Norwegian convert to Islam, Brother Abu Bakr Siddique, as the spokesperson for Minhaj ul Quran Norway. Shaykh ul Islam announced the appointment of Abu Bakr last month to a large gathering of workers, from Europe and the UK, in Birmingham.
Nasheed course took place every Tuesdays and Thursdays between 5th June and 5th July at Minhaj ul Quran International center Norway. There were altogether fifteen female participants aged between 13-30 years who participated but only eleven of them completed this course successfully.

Tehreek Minhajul Quran chief Dr Tahirul Qadri has said unless masses took to streets against corrupt system, ‘elitist leadership’ would persist with its discriminations against masses. During an interview with a Canadian private TV channel, he regretted that “ever since 1980s and up to 2008, retired judges were never appointed for election tribunals. Why is the practice being carried out with such fanfare now?”

LONDON: The attack on a British Soldier in Woolwich is an anti-Islamic act and Minhaj-ul-Quran International UK on behalf of the British Muslim community strongly condemns it. President of MQI Advisory Council, Dr Zahid Iqbal said “We strongly condemn the cowardly and barbaric act which is against any notion of civilized behaviour. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to the victim and his family. The perpetrators of today's horrific killing in Woolwich have no religion and demonstrated behaviour that can only be described as inhumane and against the peaceful teachings of Islam.”
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri participated in the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa 2013 held on May 24–26, 2013 at King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Center, Dead Sea in Jordan. Dr Hassan Qadri’s main session was Towards Coexistence with the following objectives: Future of Sunni-Shia relations; Secularism and political Islam; and Status of religious minorities. Also he participated in other sessions and events.
We are all thankful to Allah Almighty Who enabled the Minhaj Women League and Sisters League to celebrate such a marvelous program on the occasion of Isra wal Me’raj on the 26th of May 2013. Alhumdulilah many sisters attended the program to enlighten their hearts with the remembrance of Allah Subhana wa Ta`ala and His Beloved Prophet (Peace be upon him).
By the grace of Almighty Allah, 5th Annual Charity Fun Day was organised on Sunday (26th May 2013) under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League (London). The programme started at 12:30 and finished at 1700 hrs. A large number of families including children participated in the fun day and everyone enjoyed the event thoroughly as there were activities for all ages.
Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of PAT’s Federal Council, has said that call to revolution (Azan) was given on January 14 and only the prayer is left to be offered. He said that following the May 11 flawed elections if someone still thought that the next elections would be instrumental in bringing about change was in the manifest error. He said that a system, which held the nation hostage for many decades, was not going to give in that easily to pave the way for change. He said that a few new faces did crop up in the name of change on the polling day but the system remained as entrenched as ever.
On Friday 31st May, approximately 50 students from Minhaj School of Islamic Sciences (MSIS) as well as some 30 volunteers including teaching staff and parents teamed up with UK charity Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF) to conduct a sponsored charity walk for the HelpFeed project.
We have completed the purchase of our recently acquired site in Bradford. The new property is located in the heart of the community in the Great Horton ward and consists of 34.220 square feet over 2.2 acres purchased at a cost of £500k. The members of MQI opened the doors for the first time and toured the new property. At present half of the site largely consists of a disused industrial complex which will be demolished, and the remaining is open land.
Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri's struggle in Pakistani political sense
Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that resignations were pouring in and the nation would have to resign from the corrupt electoral system soon. He said that the present electoral system was characterized by duress, rigging and demonstration of naked physical power, further adding that even those who wished to bring about change sincerely were destined to fail under the system. He said that all political parties had joined the bandwagon of power and there would be no real opposition leaving the space open for the government not only to have its cake but eat it too.

LAHORE - Announcing a country-wide sit-in on polling day Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri on Tuesday rejected the upcoming elections and said that there would be no change on May 11. Speaking to journalists, he said the May 11 elections would usher the same old faces into the parliament, adding the current system would never be the foundation of real change in the country.
