ISLAMABAD: The Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran and Commissioner Islamabad have agreed on a code of conduct for when the long march arrives in the federal capital. According to the agreement, participants of the long march will be unarmed, will not assault anyone and will not venture out of designated areas. There will no slogans chanted against the state nor will any participant try to enter the red or high security zone.

ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - A populist Pakistani cleric told tens of thousands of supporters gathered in the capital for an anti-corruption rally early on Tuesday morning that they could force the government to quit within hours.
LAHORE - The Punjab police had been put on high alert throughout the province during Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran chief Dr Tahir Ul Qadri’s long march. Capital City Police had also intensified security in and around the entire route of the march by deploying police personnel.
The city district government, Rawalpindi, with the help of police, has blocked all roads leading to Islamabad on Sunday to stop Tahir-ul-Qadri’s ‘long march’ today (Monday) by placing containers on roads.
