On February 24, 2012, Minhaj Model School Mirpur Azad Kashmir celebrated the Quaid Day 2012. More than 250 students, teachers & administrator staff of school were present in this event. The Program started with the name of Almighty Allah. After recitation of the Holy Quran, Atif Mahmood recited the Naat.

Fatwa launching - MQI-India
VADODARA: Pakistani Islamic scholar Tahirul Qadri will be visiting Karjan as scheduled. His visit was uncertain after the Karjan mamlatdar had cancelled the permission given to the organizers for the programme scheduled on February 25.
On February 22, 2012, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri’s scholarly masterpiece, which has won global acclaim, titled as “Fatwa on Terrorism and Suicide Bombing” was launched in Islamic Cultural Centre India under the aegis of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (India chapter). The auditorium was full to its capacity before the arrival of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. The participants gave Shaykh-ul-Islam a standing ovation on his entry into the main hall. The chants of welcome and other slogans reverberated through the air and made the atmosphere electric. It was a spectacular scene when Shaykh-ul-Islam appeared on the main stage. The people’s faces were radiating with happiness and excitement at the sight of a great scholar of his times.

He has arrived in the morning of Tuesday 21st February in Delhi. He was received by the office-bearers of Minhajul Quran. His first programme is at India Islamic Cultural centre.

Pakistani Islamic scholar Tahirul Qadri, who has been facing threats for his condemnation of terrorism by various outfits in Pakistan, including Taliban, is scheduled to visit more than half-a-dozen places across the country from February 25 to March 18 amidst protest by some groups in Gujarat. Coming to India on an invitation by Karjan-based Minhajul Quran International (India), a branch of the UK-based MQI headed by Qadri himself, the Pakistani academician, who subscribes to Sufi school of Islamic thought, will be specially focussing on anti-terrorism in his lectures.
