Minhaj Ambulance Service was inaugurated in a prestigious ceremony held under the banner of Minhaj Welfare Foundation Syedwala chapter. Iftikhar Shah Bokhari, Director of MWF, was the chief guest on the occasion, while Bashir Khan Lodhi, naib Amir of MQI Punja, presided over the program. Engr. Rafiq Anjum also participated in the inaugural ceremony.

Irfan-ul-Quran courses continue throughout the country under the aegis of Directorate of Training, MQI. The concluding ceremony of Irfan-ul-Quran course, which was organized in Defence Y Block Market Lahore, was held on May 6, 2011, which was attended by Muhammad Irshad Tahir, Amir of MQI Lahore, and Allama Muhammad Sharif Kamalvi.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri dilated upon the subject of last spiritual gathering. He clarified misconceptions, doubts and misunderstandings about the scholarly and research work of Imam e Azam Abu Hanifa (R.A). The arguments offered by Shaykh-ul-Islam in defence of Imam-e-Azam (RA) were meaty, cogent and scholarly.

Labour Wing of Pakistan Awami Tehreek brought out a rally, which started from the press club in Lahore and concluded on the Muslim League House to mark the immense sacrifices rendered by the labourers of Chicago on May 1. The hundreds of labourers', who attended the rally, paid a glowing tribute to the Chicago men for their exemplary courage and relentless struggle for their rights.
(Sunday 24th April 2011): The recently re-structured NEC (National Executive Council) of MQI UK has commenced its tour of UK. Starting with Scotland, the NEC will be touring around the entire UK meeting the voluntary workers of centers and branches of MQI UK. The NEC delegation led by President MQI, (NEC UK) Shaykh Muhammad Afzal Saeedi started the Scotland leg of the tour by visiting Minhaj-ul-Quran International Glasgow.
Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Islamabad organized a grand exhibition of hundreds of books & CDs by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, in Fatima Jinnah Park Islamabad on 23 April, 2011 in collaboration with WAAG Islamabad. A special sitting of graduates and alumni of Minhaj University with Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri was held in the central secretariat of MQI on April 16, 2011 Lahore. The meeting was attended by the central leadership of MQI, teachers and students of Minhaj University and the hundreds of Minhajians from across Pakistan.
A one-month training course was organized by the Directorate of Dawa of MQI for preparation of speakers. The course started from March 14, 2011 and concluded on April 14, 2011. 52 participants from across the four provinces of Pakistan attended the course. These participants were selected through test and interview process and imparted a special curriculum.
At the U.S.-Islamic World Forum in Washington D.C., which was jointly organized by the Brookings Institution, the Qatar Government and the OIC, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri met with the Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC), Prof Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu. They spoke about various issues of mutual interest and exchanged views on a host of issues.
