To celebrate the beautiful month of Rabbi-ul-Awwal, over 2000 people gathered on February 13th 2011, to participate in a peace march organized under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran in cooperation with numerous local organizations.
The annual Mawlid-un-Nabi (S.A.W) event is a heart-warming gathering organised every year jointly by MYL-Sisters Halifax and Minhaj-ul-Quran Women’s League Halifax to celebrate the Blessed birth of our Beloved Prophet (peace be upon him).
With the advent of the blessed and holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal 1432, Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Glasgow) organized Mawlid-un-Nabi (S.A.W.) Conference in connection with the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) on February 12, 2011.
Thousands of people participated in the Milad March organized under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International and expressed their love for the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). The March, which was meant to welcome the advent of the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal and for the demonstration and promotion of love and respect for the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him), started from the Assembly Hall and concluded at Data Darbar. Attended by thousands of people, the event was also simultaneously held in Gujranwala and Rawalpindi.
On 11th February 2011, a comprehensive three-day workshop was organized by Minhaj Reconciliation Council Pakistan. All arrangements and preparation were made under the supervision of Mr. Sohail Ahmed Raza, Director of Minhaj Reconciliation Council. The master trainer Mr. Ch Ejaz Ahmed, Managing Director of MRC, and Mr. Zaeem Shoukat, President of MRC Norway, conducted the training sessions. Among the trainees were selected participants of five districts i.e. Lahore A, Lahore B, Gujranwala, Jhelum and Gujrat.

One million people likely to attend Mawlid-un-Nabi Conference under MQI
With the advent of the holy and blessed month of Rabi-ul-Awwal 1432, the Milad ceremonies have got underway at the central secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. These ceremonies kicked off with the Milad procession organized on the eve of the beginning of the holy month, which was attended by a large number of people.
The book mounts a befitting attack on those who indulge in incessant propaganda of declaring others as ‘Mushrik’ (polytheist) every now and then and establishes the legal status of the Mawlid-un-Nabi (SAW) in the light of the Holy Quran and Sunna. The author has undertaken exhaustive discussion on such important topics as the birth of the Holy Prophet (SAW), the reasons of naming the Holy Prophet (SAW) as Muhammad (SAW) and celebration on the birth of the Holy Prophet (SAW). The book seeks to remove all doubts and confusion created by the vested interests.

A Milad March was organized by Mustafavi Students Movement (MSM) Mirpur to welcome the advent of the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal,. The March was led by Hafiz Ehsan-ul-Haq, Nazim Kashmir, and Sahibzada Iftikhar Ali Hashmi, president of Minhaj-ul-Quran Ulama Council.
Minhaj-ul-Quran Youth League Gujranwala held a Milad March on February 6, which started from new Railway station GT road and concluded on Sialkoti road. Anwar Akhtar Advocate, Secretary General of PAT, Sajid Mahmood Bhatti, Ishtiaq Hanif Mughal, central coordinator, and Amjad Hussain Jutt, vice president of MYL attended the March on special invitation. The March was jointly led by Imran Ali Advocate, Amir of MQI Gujranwala, and Muhammad Nauman Saddiqi, president of MYL Gujranwala, and Muhammad Ismail Inam, president of MSM.
The event of Mawlid-un-Nabi (S.A.W) was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 6th February 2011 under the auspices of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Denmark, in which a large number of ladies from surrounding areas participated. The chief guest of the programme was a well known student of Shaykh-ul-Islam and leader of Minhaj ul Quran UK, Allama Saadiq Qureshi Al-Azhari.

The Milad Marches continue to be held throughout the country under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. MQI, MYL and MSM (Gujrat chapters) jointly brought out well organized and peaceful Milad March on February 4, which was led by the central leaders of different forums of MQI.
On 3rd Feb, 2011 His Excellency Robert Koyle, Norwegian Ambassador to Pakistan, visited the offices of the Minhaj Reconciliation Council Kharian. He was accompanied by Director IMDI Norway Mr. Geir Barvik, Assistant Director Skjoldvor Fjvelvaer and Vivien Wrede Holm during his visit.
