Government lacks economic vision: Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri
MQI (Berlin) participates in the death anniversary of Imam Khomeini in the Embassy of Islamic Republic of Iran
Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri inaugurated the new Centre and made a special prayer. Everyone’s eyes were full of tears on this historic and auspicious occasion. The formal inauguration was also marked by Mawlid-un-Nabi (SAW) Conference, which had full participation of distinguished religious, social and political activists. Allama Nadeem Younis Minhajian and Faisal Najeeb conducted the proceedings of the Conference.
On June 6, 2010, a joint consultative meeting of different scholars, representatives of different branches of Ahl-e-Sunnet and religious seminaries was held under the aegis of Minhaj-ul-Quran Ulama Council, which was presided over by Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi, Nazim-e-Ala of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. Allama Farhat Hussain Shah, central Nazim of the Ulama Council, apprised the participants of the aims and objectives of the meeting.
The conference entitled as 'Jihad Hijacked, was organised by Muslim Youth League UK (MYL UK). The keynote speaker on the occasion was Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri who gave a comprehensive lecture on the true Islamic concept of Jihad. Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri explained that the 31 verses of the Holy Quran mentioned non-violent forms of Jihad such as struggling to gain knowledge, spirituality, charity and character reformation.
On June 9, 2010, Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, president of MQI’s Supreme Council, held a meeting with the office holders of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League (France) during his tour of the country. The meeting was also attended by senior Deputy Secretary General, Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz, senior MQI leader Allama Hafiz Nazir Ahmad, Amir-e-Tehreek (Europe) Hassan Mir Qadri, president of MQI France chapter Abdul Jabbar Butt and president of Women League France Fahmeda Ashfaq. A large number of workers and associates of the Minhaj Women League were also in attendance.
The office holders of Minhaj-ul-Quran Youth League France called on Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, president of MQI’s Supreme Council, on June 9, 2010 and discussed with him matters of mutual interest. Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz, Hafiz Allama Nazir Ahmad Khan, Abdul Jabbar Butt, Rao Khalil Ahmad, and Allama Hassan Mir Qadri were also present in the meeting.

Minhaj-ul-Quran International (South Italy chapter) hosted an All-Italy Peace Conference on June 6, 2010, which was presided over by Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, president of MQI’s Supreme Council. Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz, Senior Deputy Secretary General of MQI, and Allama Hafiz Iqbal Azam, Director of Minhaj Welfare Foundation (Europe) were the guests of honour.
The third monthly youth dhikr session was held at London secretariat of Minhaj-ul Quran International. During the session, the speakers expressed their vies on ‘Love of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) by the Sahabah (ra)’. The proceedings of the meeting got underway with the recitation of the holy Quran by Hafiz Ibn Jameel, followed by Na'at by Ahmed Raza.
Seerat Conference was held on June 5, 2010 under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Brachia), which was presided over by Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, president of the Supreme Council. Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz, Hafiz Iqbal Azam and Syed Arshad Shah also participated the Conference.
On June 4, 2010, Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Italy chapter) organized a training and organizational Convention after the evening prayer. Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, president of MQI’s Supreme Council, was the guest of honour on the occasion. Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz and Allama Iqbal Azam were also present among the distinguished participants. Khawar Bashir Butt conducted the proceedings of the Convention.
Prime Minister Mr. Raja Farooq Haider welcomed the MSM delegation. He advised the students that respecting parents, teachers and women are a key to success. They should, therefore, acquire higher morality and polite manners to achieve success in life. He further advised them to devote their energies to their respective fields of studies. He paid glowing tribute to the services of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri in different fields and said that he is a asset of Muslim Umma.
The Minhaj Welfare Foundation is diligently engaged in welfare projects. It is striving as a leading organization in rehabilitating the victims of disasters, relieving the poverty-stricken people of agonies and miseries, providing clean water in distant areas and building their confidence in life afresh the world over.
Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Frankfurt chapter) organized an interfaith moot on May 31, 2010 in Haus am Dom Frankfurt. The event started with the welcome address by Dr. Brigitta Sassin. She threw light on the concept of the evening and how it would help form partnership to defeat the forces of extremism and terrorism.
Students’ role central to eradication of terrorism: Dr Raheeq Abbasi
Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi, Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, has said that the terrorists are bent upon defaming Islam, destabilizing Pakistan and rendering our religion’s teachings into ambiguous and dishonoured. They have no religion, as no religion allows mischief and massacre. They can never be Muslims, anyway.
A record collection worth £2150 was earned at the Meena Bazaar organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League (London) on Sunday 30th May 2010. The chief organizer of this hugely enjoyable and very successful afternoon was the new President of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League – London, Sister Zarida Shafique. Although it was a cloudy day, a large number of locals attended. There was some really special food at rock bottom prices prepared and donated by the whole of the Women’s League- London, together with all kinds of bric-a-brac.
MQI condemns Lahore carnage
MQI Austria, under the inspiring leadership of His Excellency Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, is striving for promotion of peace, harmony, interfaith dialogue and human welfare around the globe. May 29, 2010 was an extremely joyful day for all members and lovers of MQI because the beloved son of H. E. Shaykh-ul-Islam, Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, was on his visit to Austria for the first time.
