On the invitation of Public Relations Department, internationally renowned cricket umpire Aleem Dar visited the central secretariat of MQI and Minhaj University Lahore where he held meetings with Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri and VC MUL Dr Sajid Mahmood Shahzad. He was accompanied by former PCB manager Azhar Zaidi, umpire Zameer Haider and business person Mahmood Butt.

He asked the participants to focus on education and moral and spiritual training. He directed the MQI chapters across the country to set up 5000 Centers of Knowledge during the ongoing year.

A meeting of MQI’s Central Executive Committee was held here at the central secretariat with Chairman Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri in the chair. The top office-holders of the zonal organizations, the presidents of all forums and other responsible people attended the meeting.

A special ceremony took place in Karachi for the introduction of the project and training of the teachers to set up 25,000 centers of knowledge across the country in the next five years, which was attended by hundreds of educatorsand the people belonging to the various walks of life.

In a monthly moral training meeting held under the banner of Tehfeez-ul-Quran Institute, the students were imparted a lecture on the respect, status, and prestige of the parents.
A Standing Committee of Minhaj-ul-Quran International has congratulated Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri on the completion of the translation of the Holy Quran in English language directly from Arabic. The Standing Committee met here with Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri in the chair. Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur presented the resolution.
Jawwad Hamid, a senior MQI leader and complainant in the Model Town case, has said that the Supreme Court of Pakistan passed directions to the subordinate judiciary to clear all the pending appeals and smooth the way for justice for the oppressed.

Addressing the 50th ‘Urs’ ceremony of Hazrat Farid-i-Millat Dr. Farid-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that Allah Almighty creates pious conditions for His pious people. He said that Farid-i-Millat imparted excellent training to his son.

Shaykh Hammad Mustafa al-Madani al-Qadri addressed the second instalment of the series of the jurisprudence of Hearts (fiqh al-qulub). Shaykh Hammad Mustafa said that the Heart is a vital organ, not just for the physical body but also for the soul. In Islamic teachings, a diseased heart is one that has turned away from Allah the Almighty’s commandments and indulges in forbidden actions, leading to layers rust and eventual spiritual death.
Itikaf City 2023 of Minhaj-ul-Quran International came to end after sighting of the moon on April 21, 2023. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri led tearful Dua in the Itikaf City, a place for understanding of religion, reformation, repentance and self-improvement.
The Eid prayer will be offered at 7.30 am in Jame Shaykh-ul-Islam in Model Town. Qari Syed Khalid Hameed Qadri Al-Azhari will lead the Eid prayer. Chairman Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President MQI Prof Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, and the central, provincial and district leaders will also offer their prayer at Model Town Mosque.
In his special address on the 9th day of Itikaf, MQI founding-leader and patron-in-chief Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said if the people want to attain nearness of Allah Almighty, then they should stop following the diktat of ill-commanding self. He said the domination of carnal desires makes one estranged from the performance of good deeds.
The concluding session of “Centers for knowledge (Marakiz e Ilm) training camp for the teachers” came to an end at Itikaf City under the banner of the Department of Courses.
