Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri addressed the participants of Itikaf City on the subject of etiquettes of company and reform of one’s conduct. He said that Itikaf is a worship that is aimed at reforming our inner self. He said that undertaking a journey and isolating oneself from others with the intention of purification of the heart is a divine attribute.

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri took an oath from the thousands of the faithful attending Itikaf under the banner of MQI that they would never cause any hurt to and disobey their parents till the last breath of their life nor would they injure their feelings through their actions, words or body language and that they would take care of their aging parents in same manner as their parents took care of them during their childhood.

Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that the effort to revive the weakening relationship with our Lord is Itikaf. He said that people renounce their worldly engagements during Itikaf and dedicate themselves wholly to win Allah’s pleasure during the last ten days of Ramadan.
Thousands of the faithful from across Pakistan as well as the UK, America, Canada, and other countries have joined the Itikaf City of Minhaj-ul-Quran International this evening. MQI founding-leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri congratulated the residents of Itikaf City and said that they are blessed people of Allah, as they have dedicated ten days for His worship away from the hustle and bustle of life.

The society is facing comprehensive decline owing to the erosion of the social, and intellectual values as well as those of knowledge. The skyrocketing inflation has taken a heavy toll on the life of citizens as they find it nearly impossible to afford Hajj, make their both ends meet and dedicate the last ten days of Ramadan for spiritual retreat.
Dr. Ellinor Zeino, Regional Director, Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS-Germany) for Central Asia, Afghanistan and Pakistan visited Deputy Chairman BOG, Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri in his office Minhaj University Lahore. The exchange of views covered regional and international developments in the meeting.
Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri visited the Itikaf City Jame Al-Minhaj and inspected the arrangements for Itikaf 2023. He directed the secretary administrative committee to take every possible care of the residents so that they can spend their time most productively in worship and prayer.
In a statement, MQI founding-leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that Gazwa-e-Badr (The Battle of Badr) was a decisive battle between the forces of falsehood and the truth. He said that with the support of Allah, the truth overcame the falsehood and established itself as a paramount force.

Shaykh Hammad Mustafa al-Madani al-Qadri addressed an online seminar on the subject of “The holy month of Ramadan as the month of blessing”. He said that Ramadan is a month to seek forgiveness, fill one’s life with the blessings of Allah and seek His mercy. He said that it is a month to recharge our spiritual batteries and review our lifestyles.
