Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has congratulated Muslims around the world on the start of the holy month of Dhu al-Hijjah. In a message, he said that the month is a blessed one because Hajj, one of the five pillars of Islam, is performed in this month. He said that Hajj is not just a religious obligation for those who have resources but also reflective of unity, togetherness and collectivity in the body politic of Muslims.

MYL to play its role in a drug-free Pakistan
Spiritual and prayer ceremonies marking the 31st ‘Urs’ of Huzoor Qudwat-ul-Awliya’ Sayyiduna Tahir Ala-ud-Din al-Qadri al-Gillani al-Baghdadi (R.A) have begun in different parts of the world including in Darbar-e-Ghosia Township Lahore. The ceremony in Lahore got underway with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by Naat, bathing of the shrine and laying of a wreath.
An important meeting of the MQI Supreme Council was held here at the central secretariat on June 22, 2022. Chairman Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri presided over the meeting, whereas Secretary Supreme Council Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Brig. (r ) Iqbal Ahmad Khan, Dr Rafique Najam, Dr Farah Naz, Muhammad Farooq Rana, Noorullah Siddiqui, and Abdur Rehman were in attendance.

Soul-warming new books of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri have been published. These new publications are part of the series on the Concept of Oneness of God. The book “Aqida e Tawhid (Iman bil-Allah)” consists of five chapters and 223 subjects and has been written in easy-to-understand and relatable language along with the reference of the Holy Quran and Sunnah.
Quran khawani and Dua ceremonies for the martyrs of Model Town tragedy continue to take place across the world including Pakistan on the completion of the eight years of the massacre. A delegation of PAT and MQI led by Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur visited the residences of the martyrs and met with their family members. They did Fateha khawani for the departed souls and expressed their solidarity with the families of the martyrs.
On the invitation of the MQI Public Relations Department, a delegation of the Nazria-e-Pakistan Trust office-holders led by Secretary Naheed Imran Gull, the Secretary of the Trust visited the MQI secretariat. They met with Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri and also invited the students studying at Minhaj University Lahore to join their Pakistan Aware Program. The delegation also extended an invitation to Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri for a visit to the offices of the Trust and Aiwan-e-Workers Pakistan.
In an open letter addressed to Chief Justice of Pakistan, Bisma Amjad, daughter of Shaheed Tanzila Amjad, has said that former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar put his hand on her head with affection and asked her to fulfill the dream of her Shaheed mother while leaving the matter of justice in Model Town case to the judiciary. She said that she became hopeful about the dream of her education with this assurance.

Quran Khawani and special dua were arranged in MMCC Jame Al Mustafa Mississauga Canada on Friday, June 17, 2022, with the presence of MQI president Kamran Rashid, senior vice president Chaudhry Ghulam Sarwar, MQI Canada religious affairs director Allama Ahmed Awan, MQI management and Minhaj families in Canada.
A Dua ceremony was held for the martyrs of Model Town tragedy in Madinat Al-Zahra, Bradford, under the banner of MQI UK. A large number of people including religious scholars, community members, workers and associates of MQI attended the ceremony. Allama Muhammad Afzal Saeedi, Director Madinat Al-Zahra, presided over the ceremony, whereas renowned scholar Allama Muhammad Sultan Mash'hadi, and social activist Muhammad Arshad Khatana were the special guests on the occasion.

(r ) Iqbal Ahmad Khan, senior leaders of various forums of MQI, and people belonging to different walks of life attended the Dua ceremony.
