Addressing a meeting of Majlis-e-Shura, patron-in-chief and founding-leader of MQI Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the establishment of Mustafavi society is in fact Mustafavi revolution. He said that Dawah, education, and moral training shows the way toward renaissance of Islam. He said that it is for this reason that a focus on education, character building and the promotion of moral values will help change extremist and biased attitudes.

A meeting of the Central Executive Council (CEC) of MQI was held here under the leadership of Chairman Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri. The heads and presidents of all zonal organizations presented their respective performance reports in the meeting. Chairman Supreme Council expressed his satisfaction and happiness on the performance of the various departments and directorates. Distinguished director, writer and filmmaker Syed Noor visited Aghosh Orphan Care Home along with his wife Saima Noor, a famous actor in her own right and spent the entire day with the orphan children. Both husband and wife sat with the children for lunch. Saima Noor mixed up with the innocent children and showed amazing love for them.

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has expressed his profound grief and sorrow on the passing of Haji Riaz Ahmad Qadri, a senior MQI leader who remained associated with Gosha-e-Durood till his last breath. In his condolence message, he paid rich tributes to the services of late Haji Riaz and said that he was a noble and pious person who made the service to MQI the mission of his life.
President All-Pakistan Small Traders Association and Industries Babar Butt met Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman MQI Supreme Council along with the delegation. The matters relating to the problems facing the traders and industrialists came under discussion during the meeting. Talking to the traders and industrialists, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the traders' community should create facilitation and ease for the consumers. He said that Allah Almighty rewards those who are helpful to others in need.

MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur attended the collective marriage ceremony held under the banner of Minhaj Welfare Foundation Rawalpindi. Speaking on the occasion, he said that it has become difficult, rather impossible, for the people to marry off their daughters because of the increasing cost of living. He said that those who take part in welfare activities and help the poor are the blessed people.
Dr. Hossein Rouzbeh, Deputy Minister of Culture and Relations of the Islamic Republic of Iran, called on MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur in the central secretariat. Speaking on the occasion, the honourable guest said that the institutions of higher learning of Iran are always welcoming towards the Pakistani students. A ceremony was held for the resident children of Orphan Care Home (Aghosh), a welfare institute of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur distributed gifts among the children on behalf of the public relations department. Director Aghosh Complex Col. (r ) Mubashir Iqbal, Noorullah Siddiqui, Shahzad Rasool, Haji Muhammad Ishaq, the staff members of Aghosh Orphan Care Home, and caretakers of the children attended the ceremony.
On the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, I would extend my heartfelt greetings and felicitations to the Muslims around the world in general, the people of Pakistan and overseas Pakistanis in particular. Eid-ul-Fitr represents a reward from Allah Almighty that we earn after keeping fasts during the holy month of Ramadan.

He said that the sins a man commits relate to both his outer and inner selves. He said that Allah Almighty considers the sins of the inner self first of all, not the apparent actions.

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri continued his series of keynote addresses on the fifth day of Itikaf on the subject of internal spiritual ailments and their cure. Thousands of the residents of Itikaf City listened to his speech with rapt attention. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that every child is born in good nature. No one is born evil. It is the company that leaves its permanent impact on the moral health of people and it is the company of the immediate family that a child has after being born.
An International Spiritual Gathering (Laylatul Qadr) marking the 27th night of Ramadan was held here under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri delivered his keynote address through a video link live from Canada.
