Addressing a seminar on the topic of "Tajdid e Ahd e Wafa" (Renewal of the pledge of loyalty) held under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Karachi, MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has said that all all the resources and policy attention will have to be concentrated on the provision of meaningful education to make Pakistan peaceful and prosperous. He said that MQI, under the inspirational leadership of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, is using all the available resources to fulfill the requirements of this great national and religious duty.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has congratulated Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF) on the distribution of winter package among deserving families in Kundal Shahi valley of Azad Kashmir. He said that the volunteers of Minhaj Welfare Foundation worked with passion and dedication to help the suffering humanity in the freezing cold. He prayed to Allah Almighty to bless the volunteers with rewards and the passion for more public service. The heavy snowfall enveloped the Neelum valley for three consecutive days.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri expresses grief on the death of Sufi Muhammad Ashiq Hamdami
In a meeting with a delegation of religious scholars, Chairman Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that conservatism and lack of tolerance are the biggest threat to society. He asked the Ulama to accept the diversity of opinions with an open heart, adding that the true religious scholars cannot be conservative and narrow-minded. He said that the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) would listen to everyone with patience and never expressed his annoyance at anything.
A delegation of Anjuman-e-Asaatiza Pakistan (Teachers Association) led by Professor Raza Hussain Sial called on Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri at the Central Secretariat of MQI. Speaking on the occasion Chairman Supreme Council said that teachers are the educator of humanity and their profession is structured on the prophetic practice. He said that without professional teachers, the dream of an educated Pakistan cannot be realised.
MQI France hosted a reception in the honour of the leaders of the PTI France chapter at the beginning of New Year. The reception was attended by Malik Abid, president of PTI France, General Secretary Chaudhry Afzaal Gondal, Chaudhry Ashfaq Jutt, Chaudhry Afzaal Dhall, Safdar Hashmi, senior leaders of MQI France and the local journalists.

Addressing the summit, Chairman Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri asked the social media activists to become the protectors of Islam and the Pakistan ideology. He said that the users of social media platforms must come forward and play their part in putting a stop to the march of the forces of extremism and intolerance. "The youth should use the social media to promote unity in the ranks of Muslims and better the image of Pakistan. The use of social media can become a source of positive social change in society," he added.
On the 16th of January 2022, a memorable and unique Dars-e-Nizami Convocation was held by Minhaj-ul-Quran International Denmark at NV Center. Due to COVID-19 restrictions a very limited number of people were allowed to enter and that too by invitation alone. An exclusive gathering of approx. 100 people attended this beautiful occasion including MQI DK executives, teachers, students, and their families.

Minhaj-ul-Quran International UK is delighted at the opening of SeekersHub Halifax that is now open on Gibbet St, Halifax. The facility is part of the Seekers Academy initiative by Minhaj College - MCM and will be a full-time satellite site offering daytime courses, evening programmes and community facilities such as a charity cafe and shop in partnership with Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF).
Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri visited the residence of Sajjada-e-Nasheen Pir Sayyid Shams-ur-Rahman Shamsi, organizer of PAT Ulama Wing and condoled with him on the death of his brother. He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in peace and give patience and fortitude to the bereaved family to bear this loss. Nazime-e-Aala Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Raja Zahid Mahmood, Qazi Faiz-ul-Islam and other leaders were present on the occasion.
A delegation of senior MQI leaders led by Raja Zahid Mahmood attended the funeral prayer for the beloved daughter of MQI's spiritual patron, Huzoor Qudwat-ul-Awliya’ Sayyiduna Tahir Ala-ud-Din al-Qadri al-Gillani (R.A.). The funeral prayer was offered in Quetta.
