Addressing the Farid-e-Millat Scholarship Award ceremony, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman of Minhaj Education Society and President MQI, has said that education offers the only way forward for progress of the country. He said that the educational institutions working under the banner of MQI are imparting both quality but affordable education as well as moral training to the students. He said that the award of merit scholarships to the deserving but talented students is helping the poor parents realize the dream of giving higher education to their children.
An important meeting of the MQI Central Working Council (CWC) was held here with Secretary-General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur in the chair. The meeting was attended by all the CWC members. The CWC decided after thorough consultation to hold a peaceful protest along with the family members of the martyrs on June 17, 2021, for the reinstatement of the JIT that was set up to conduct an impartial investigation into the Model Town tragedy.
Three books written by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri have formally been approved for moral training and character building for the inmates undergoing prison sentences in the Victoria province of Australia. The booklet starts with the heading ‘Traits of Islam’ that encompasses ‘Love, mercy, compassion, kindness, liberalness, tolerance, benevolence, forgiveness, forbearance, altruism, charity, peace, moderation. These aforementioned traits have been spotlighted throughout the book in light of the traditions of the beloved Prophet (pbuh). The booklet is comprised of two parts. Part one, having around 100 articles – gives information about the birth of the Prophet (pbuh), and importantly a general description of his personality.

The Training and Development Department of COSIS has arranged to hold online training sessions from May 4 to May 8 during the last ten days of Ramazan. Almighty Allah’s Oath on “Pen and its Writings” Enlightening Talk by Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri; Chairman Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri chaired an FMRi programme on March 1, 2021, to celebrate 70th Birthday of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. Speaking to the participants on the occasion, he selected a unique topic to express his views in the light of the first verse of Sura al-Qalam: ن ۚ وَالْقَلَمِ وَمَا يَسْطُرُونَ Noon.
Syed Amjad Ali Shah, country director of MWF, briefed the senior MQI leaders about the distribution drive and stated that the Foundation carries out the distribution of food ration among the deserving and needy families every year during the month of Ramadan. He said that special bags have been prepare for distribution this year as well, adding that it has made sure that the quality of the foodstuff does not get compromised. He said that ration of top quality that is consumed by middle-class families is purchased for the deserving.
The Resources and Development Wing of Minhaj-ul-Quran International donated an auto-rickshaw to unemployed youth, thus enabling him to earn his livelihood. Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, president of the MQI, gave the keys of the three-wheeler to Tariq Salman here on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that enabling someone to earn a halal livelihood is a great act of piety during these testing times.
