Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that the government must take action against the elements busy in bringing a bad name to Islam, and Pakistan ideology through their social media posts and messages that are full of hatred. He said that the Holy Quran strictly forbids its followers to spread the news without establishing context and verification, mudslinging and humiliation of others.

Christmas ceremony held at the Minhaj University Lahore
Addressing the ceremony, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri congratulated the members of the Christian community on the auspicious occasion of Christmas. He said Islam teaches its followers about peace, love, and harmony. He said that all the prophets that Allah Almighty sent to the world laid emphasis on the rights of humanity without any discrimination. He said that if there is no respect for humanity and the rights of the people, no religion will be able to influence the hearts of the people.
The meeting of MUL's Board of Governors (BoG) was held on 17th December 2020. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Chairman, Board of Governors MUL, presided over the meeting. The Chair welcomed all worthy members of the Board of Governors. MUL 's progress over the last couple of years was presented and well appreciated by the members. BoG members were told that the university is 100 percent ready for online classes and during Covid-19, more than Rs. 30 million fee discount was given to the students.
