Knowledge creation the only way to overcome crises: Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri addresses 'National Peace Conference'

Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of MQI Federal Council, has said that terrorism would not end if the rulers pick up fights with those who challenged terrorists openly. He said that the nation suffered many wounds at the hands of terrorists but the rulers did not come forward to put a healing touch on the bruises of the people. He said that we would eliminate terrorism through Mustafavi revolution. He said that Sufis interpreted the holy Quran and Sunna through their actions and excellence of character.

Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri expressed these views while addressing National Peace Conference today on the occasion of ‘Urs’ of Khawaja Ghulam Farid in Kot Mitthan.

The President of MQI Federal Council said that Pakistan has not been able to evolve into a moderate Islamic society due to discrepancy between sayings and actions of the rulers and their innate desire to concentrate all worldly powers and resources in their hands. He said that we can clearly see an intellectual revolution among the youth, adding that they are the very hope of our nation as it is they who would take on the challenges and regain Pakistan’s identity as moderate, progressive Islamic state.

He said that had the Islamic world been playing its role in the realms of knowledge and research commensurate with its standing and resource base, no one would have had the courage of drawing sacrilegious sketches of the revered Prophet (SAW). He said that the only route out of multiple crises for the Muslim world in general and Pakistan in particular is through promotion of knowledge and research.
