Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of MQI Federal Council, has said that terrorism would not end if the rulers pick up fights with those who challenged terrorists openly. He said that the nation suffered many wounds at the hands of terrorists but the rulers did not come forward to put a healing touch on the bruises of the people. He said that we would eliminate terrorism through Mustafavi revolution.
Pakistan Awami Tehreek organized countrywide protest demonstrations against obsolete and corrupt system and incompetent government on the completion of one year of elections held under the banner of corrupt system. PAT Rajanpur chapter took out one of the large rallies on the day which was attended by thousands of people. The government took all possible steps to hinder the people from joining the demonstration.
Minhaj Welfare Foundation organized a special mass marriage ceremony in Rajanpur. Ten girls belonging to flood-hit areas were married off in this ceremony. Rana Fayyaz Ahmad, naib Nazime-e-Ala of MQI, presided over the program, while Syed Iftikhar Shah Bokhari, Director of MWF, was the guest of honour on the occasion.
PAT Rajanpur chapter took out a rally to protest the non-provision of justice in the Model Town case. The rally, which was attended by workers of PAT, religious and political parties and the members of civil society organizations, was organized as part of the Qisas movement. The demonstrators chanted slogans demanding justice. They were holding banners and placards. The PAT leaders addressed the rally and vowed to continue the struggle till the ends of justice are served.
