MQI France hosted Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri and Sahibzada Hammad Mustafa Qadri to an intellectual session. Dr. Hussain delivered a special lecture on this occasion. He said that the route for ultimate success for the western Muslims is vital. Its solution lies in acquiring a sound and safe education and to create knowledge. He said that history is also witness to the fact when Muslims rendered their unique service in the area of religion, spiritualism, science, and medicine etc. there was global recognition of calibre, contributions & leadership of the Muslims.
Minhaj-ul-Quran International (UK)’s Al-Hidayah project team arranged Al-Hidayah 2016 with a relevant and much needed focus on developing future leadership. This year’s event was the first three-day event since Al-Hidayah 2010, and the objectives of the event were geared towards nurturing and inspiring future leaders from amongst the youth. Keele University in North Staffordshire, England was chosen as the venue for the event, set in 600 acres of scenic greenery and with all accommodation, facilities and events on campus, it provided the ideal environment for three days of learning and development.
UK: Al-Hidayah 2016 - 27th to 29th August
An Ulama and Mashaykh Convention was arranged in the central secretariat of MQI on August 10, 2016 under the banner of Minhaj Ulama Council in which Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri gave permission of Hadith along with a lecture on the principles of Hadith. Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the holy Quran and Hadith are the basis of whole belief system. He said that claim of believing in the Holy Quran after denial of Hadith is based on falsehood.

PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri reached Pakistan on Wednesday, July 27, 2016. Talking to the media at Lahore airport, he reiterated his commitment that the innocent workers who lost their lives in the Model Town tragedy would not be forgotten and those behind the tragedy would not be forgiven. The PAT chief said that the PAT workers would not rest until those responsible for the incident are held accountable.

Minhaj-ul-Quran International UK (Bradford) was invited to participate in an event that aimed at strengthening good interfaith relations, increasing awareness of different faiths and building an understanding between people of religious and non-religious beliefs. Diverse supplementary schools from across the Bradford District joined together to take part in celebrating the cultural diversity of the people of Bradford.
The visit of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, the founding leader of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, was something special and unique to the city of Glasgow. For those who were there, whether they are Muslim or not, it was an event they would never forget. Over 500 hundred people attended the event to welcome their beloved leader at the Kabana function hall in Glasgow.
Addressing the Women Empowerment Conference in Al-Murad Hall in Birmingham, PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that there is no difference between the terrorists and those who oppose women’s education and progress. He said that barring women from education is crime against humanity, which is neither acceptable to Islam nor to any law or Constitution. He said that waging a struggle against orthodox and extremist anti-women thought has become inevitable.
Alhamdulillah on 18th June 2016, Madīnat al-Zahrā launched its campaign by holding its first fundraising event in Luton. The team led by Project Director Allama Muhammad Afzal Saeedi was welcomed open heartedly by MQI Luton who was keen on helping the project. The night was full of entertainment as famous nasheed artist, Muhammad Milad Raza Qadri was also present and entertained the audience with the praise of the Holy Prophet Muhammad PBUH with his melodious voice.
Eid prayer to be offered at 7:30 am at Minhaj-ul-Quran Mosque
On the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, I would extend my heartfelt greetings and felicitations to the Muslims around the world in general, the people of Pakistan and overseas Pakistanis in particular. Eid-ul-Fitr represents a reward from Allah Almighty that we earn after keeping fasts during the holy month of Ramadan. This indeed is an occasion for festivity and joyful celebration, which symbolizes our gratitude to our Lord for His gift of Ramadan.
25th Itikaf City of Minhaj-ul-Quran International came to end after sighting of the moon on July 5, 2016. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri led tearful Dua in the Itikaf City, a place for understanding of religion, reformation, repentance and self-improvement. The residents of Itikaf City were weeping as Shaykh-ul-Islam made Dua.
On July 3, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri visited the women portion of Itikaf City where he addressed the huge gathering of women. Members of Minhaj Naat Council and the children of the Kids Forum warmly welcomed Dr Qadri with Nasheed. In his keynote address, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri mentioned the sacrifices made by women workers in the revolutionary struggle. He said that the circumstances in which women are playing their role qualifies them to deserve double rewards from Allah Almighty.
International Spiritual Gathering (Laylatul Qadr) by Minhaj-ul-Quran International
The 25th annual edition of International Spiritual Gathering was organized under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International to mark the 27th of Ramazan, which was presided over by Shahzada Ghous-ul-Wara Sayyid Mahmood Mohi-ud-Din Al-Qadri, Al-Gillani. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri delivered his special address on the occasion and led a tearful Dua. In addition to thousands of residents of Itikaf City, hundreds of thousands of people from across the country attended the gathering.
Addressing the thousands of women residents of Itikaf City, Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that women’s passion, commitment, confidence and love with religion is an announcement of their intent that they reject extremism, terrorism, orthodox thinking and ‘Takfeeri’ tendencies. He said that no terrorist, extremist and anti-Pakistan power can stop these women from the performance of their national and religious duty.
Addressing thousands of residents of Itikaf City on the fourth day, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that convergence of piety and excellence of manners is sainthood. He said that piety, excellent behavior, large heartedness and love of human beings are the ingredients that shape sainthood. He said that sign of a Sufi is that he is the one who distributes Allah’s blessings among the people. He connects himself with the people.
