Summer Training program was conducted by Minhaj Youth League team across 7 locations. The summer camp focused on building a stronger relationship of the students with the holy Quran & Sunnah and training them on various aspects of Islam, Iman and Ihsan. The stations at which summer camps were conducted are Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Aurangabad, Mandvi, Hyderabad and Chandannagar. The age limit for the students attending the camp was 8-15 years. More than 200 students got benefited from this program Alhamdulillah.
Minhaj-ul-Quran Victoria organised the Night of Salvation this evening at Mount Cottrell which was attended by hundreds of members of the community. Dr Hussain Qadri explained the stages and procedure and several dimensions of repentance. He said that repentance is the true migration towards Allah and that the 15th of Sha`ban is the night to repent collectively for all the sins man has committed. He also led the collective Duaa which was very emotional and resulted in participants shedding tears as the Duaa extended.

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri addressed a spiritual gathering held at the central secretariat to mark the Shab-e-Barat event through video link. Thousands of people from various walks of life including religious scholars attended the spiritual gathering. Dr Qadri said that in order to be deserving of Allah’s help, the Muslim Umma should speak truth, do justice and stand by the oppressed. He said that those who take the lives of innocent people remain deprived of the spiritual blessings on the blessed occasion of Shab-e-Barat.

In his special message on the blessed occasion of Ascension (Miraj-un-Nabi), Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, the founding leader and patron-in-chief of MQI, has said that the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) journey of Ascension represents the high point of humanity. He said that Ascension is such a miracle which human mind fails to comprehend. He said that progress in the field of science and technology has helped the understanding of Night Journey of Ascension.

MQI (Victoria, Australia) organized an event to mark the Night Ascension of the Beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). This gathering was attended by a large number of members of the Pakistani expatriate community. Dr Hussain Qadri, who was the chief guest, delivered his keynote lecture in which he elaborated on the spiritual and academic dimensions of Miraj-un-Nabi (peace and blessings be upon him) in the light of Surah al-Isra & Surah an-Najm.
On 4th May 2016, Minhaj-ul-Quran International Nelson held the annual Miraj-un-Nabi Conference at Jamia Masjid Minhaj-ul-Quran, Nelson. The event was hosted by Qari Zahid-ul-Rehman Qadri & Allama Numan Al-Azhari. It was attended by a number honourable guests and local Naat Khawans. The main guest of honour was Allama Muhammad Naeem Tariq Hajwairi who delivered the keynote speech.
Central Sports Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran Youth League arranged a cricket tournament in connection with the countrywide peace initiative. The final match of the tournament was played at the playground adjacent to the central secretariat between Al-Qadria 299 and Shariah Superstars on June 3. Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri took keen interest in the final match and was the distinguished presence in the fixture. Other guests who watched match included Sajid Mahmood Bhatti, Raja Zahid, Noorullah Saddiqi, Irfan Yousaf Ch, Iqbal Murtaza Haider, Muhammad Waqar Qadri, Asmat Ali, Haroon Sani, and Malik Muhammad Imran.
The oath-taking ceremony of MQI Central Punjab was held at the central secretariat on May 1, which was presided over by MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur. Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman of MQI Supreme Council, was the guest of honors on the occasion. The ceremony was attended by district presidents, and office holders of PP and union councils of central Punjab. The proceedings of the oath-taking ceremony started off with the recitation from the Holy Quran by Qari Riasat Ali Chadhar followed by Naat which Rana Rubnawaz Chadhar had the honors of presenting.
A PLANNING committee has thrown its backing behind an Islamic organisation's ambitious plans for a major new development in Great Horton, Bradford. The proposals would see the building of a new mosque with two 30m high minarets, as well as a boarding and day school, sports halls, shops, a cafe, a community centre and an Islamic garden at Lane Close Mills, Bartle Lane.
Zarb-e-Amn training workshop was held on 29 April 2016 at Peshawar. MYL President Mazhar Mahmood Alvi delivered lecture in it and gave a presentation about the peace curriculum. He urged the youth to go to every citizen with the message of peace so that terrorism and extremism could be eradicated from society.
