Muhammad Umar, a student of Minhaj-ul-Quran Model School Faisalabad bearing Roll no. 530843, has bagged second position in the matriculation examination conducted by Faisalabad Intermediate and Secondary Board. He has done his parents, teachers, and the school proud by winning laurel for them. It is pertinent to mention here that Minhaj Education Society (MES), a sub-ordinate organization of MQI, has a vast educational network throughout the country imparting education to thousands of students.

On the 23rd of July 2015, the Muslim Youth League UK organized an internet safety workshop which took place at the Minhaj-ul-Quran mosque in Glasgow, where young people and parents came together to learn about issues related to online safety. Shaykh Rehan Ahmed Raza al-Azhari, an Islamic scholar and an active member of the Youth League, delivered his keynote speech at the workshop.
Minhaj-ul-Quran International Canada held its Summer School Eid-ul-Fitr party on July 22, 2015. It started with the beautiful recitation of Holy Quran in the melodious voice of Qaria Sana Shafiq followed by Hamd and Qaseeda Burda Shareef by other students. They also read out Islamic poems, and performed skits and plays.
An Interfaith Iftar and Prayer Meet were jointly hosted by Minhaj ul Quran, Observer Research Foundation and Indialogue Foundation on 16th July at Mumbai Cricketers Association Club, BKC. It was attended by dignitaries from Muslim, Hindu, Christian, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi faiths and intellectuals and professionals of various fields. Rafeeq Ahmed Khan, President of Minhaj ul Quran International, introduced the newly launched Anti-Terror Curriculum of Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri to the audience.
On the 18th of June 2015, Minhaj Women League (Alum Rock Birmingham chapter) started a Halaqa-e-Durood Ramadan for one week in the Minhaj-ul-Quran Centre Naseby Road Birmingham with the blessings of Allah Almighty. This blessed spiritual gathering lasted two hours on every day of the week where Quranic recitation, Naat, Durood and Hadith were recited.
In his special message on Eid-ul-Fitr, the founding leader and patron-in-chief of MQI Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said may Allah Almighty bless Pakistan and its 190 million people with the wealth of enduring peace and prosperity. He further said may Allah give Pakistan an honest, capable and sympathetic leadership that should be able to steer this great nation out of darkness of terrorism, corruption and poverty.

PAT chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that evidence in the Model Town tragedy is safe and secure and we remember the faces of the killers. He said that all of these proofs and evidences are before the nation and the institutions responsible for dispensing justice cannot overlook them for a long time. He said that the Model Town tragedy is a potential earthquake for the rulers, adding that when this earthquake will hit, the killers will have no shelter to hide themselves and a place to run to.

Addressing the international spiritual gathering, Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the biggest message of revolution in the human history was conveyed in the form of revelation of the Holy Quran whose every word is a source of deliverance, guidance and direction till the Day of Judgment. He said that Pakistan is also a gift of the sacred night of 27th of Ramadan.
Angela Underhill, the Mayor of Walsall, visited Minhaj-ul-Quran International Walsall on 14th July 2015 on invitation of Allama Ali Akbar. She was received by Director MQI Allama Ali Akbar and members of Minhaj Youth club. She was introduced with the aims and objectives of MQI and its work regarding promotion of peace and counter-terrorism.
The spiritual congregation was organised by Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Bahrain chapter on 27th night of Ramadan on the 13 July, 2015. The program was designed in two sessions. The first session was planned till mid-night which included recitation from Holy Quran, Hamd, Naat, Khitaab, Zikar and Dua. Refreshment was served after first session.
In his speech to the audience before the start of Naat khawani, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that thought, deeds and love are directly associated with mind, physical organs and heart respectively, adding that the former are housed in the latter. He said that no deed, which is not informed by the love of the Holy Prophet (SAW), is acceptable. He said that essence of faith is love and the love revolves around the person of the Holy Prophet (SAW).

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has stated categorically that ISIS and other similar organizations belong to ‘Khawarij’ and they have got nothing to do with Islam or teachings of the Holy Quran. He said that shedding the blood of innocent people is against the fundamental ideology of Islam and the holy Quran. He said that the time has come to clash with full force against those who spread mischief and violence in the name of Jihad and brainwash the youth into doing evil things. He said that such irreligious people and terrorists are undermining Islam and the Muslim community, adding that Islam is a religion of peace, love, harmony, tolerance and affection.
Delivering his special lecture on the holy Quran to the residents of the Itikaf City on the 24th night of Ramadan, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that one cannot acquire the station of patience unless one has equipped oneself with conviction in veracity of one’s destination. He said that revolutionaries should have such a high level of patience during the journey of revolution that they remain unaffected and unmoved even by the mightiest of the challenges.
