UK: Halqa-e-Darood held in Barking
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri stated that Sindh, which was known as ‘Bab-ul-Islam’ in history would soon be remembered as ‘Bab-ul-Inqilab’. He said that revolution was not our political slogan. Rather it was the be-all and end-all of our lives. He said that revolution was all about change and change could come about only when the workers changed and transformed their character, adding that only then change would spread to the rest of the society.
Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League (Dallas, USA) organized their annual Mawlid event on Sunday, March 23, 2014 to celebrate the birth of the best of all creations, Prophet Muhammad (blessings and peace be upon him), in the beautiful Uways al-Qarani auditorium of Jame’ Hasan al-Basri & Minhaj-ul-Quran Community Center in Carrollton, Texas, USA.

On (Sunday) 19th January 2014, Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League (Hainault, UK) organized a magnificent and inspiring Mawlid-un-Nabi (Peace be upon him) program in order to commemorate the blessed birth of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).
Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League (Bradford) had the blessed privilege to organise a ‘Giyarvee Sharif’ gathering with the ‘ziyarat’ of the beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw)’s hair and various other ‘ziyarts’. The timing of this special gathering was from 2pm to 6pm.
Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of PAT Federal Council, has said that revolutionary steps are needed to uproot the scourge of terrorism from Pakistan, adding that the present rulers do not have the vision and capability to do that. He said that everyone knew as to who was responsible for lawlessness in the country, yet there was little clarity about taking on the enemies that had challenged the writ, nay, the very existence of the state.
President of MQI Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that time has come for the religious scholars to play their role to awaken nation’s conscience considering it their religious and national duty. He asked the nation to stand by Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri in his mission of bringing about peaceful change through democratic means instead of allowing themselves to be crushed to death under the burden of price hike, terrorism, unemployment and bad governance.
Rabbi-uth-Thaani is a month of celebration and commemoration of the blessed life of Shaykh Abdul Qadri Jilani (RA). Muslim Youth League-Sisters took the initiative to host “The Sultan of Awliya 2014” event on Sunday 16th March 2014 at the Minhaj-ul-Quran Centre on 187 Manningham Lane in Bradford.
Annual Sports gala was held on 15th of March 2014 at Minhaj College for Women in a pleasant atmosphere with enthusiasm. The event was marked by a string of spectacular performances presented by the students of MCW. In-charge Bazm-e-Minhaj Ms. Umme Habiba delivered welcome address. She underscored the importance of taking part in sports besides highlighting the role of games in the healthy development of youth and students.
Minhaj Women League (Burnley) set up a stall at the Family Fun Day Charity event which took place in Burnley Boys and Girls Club on the Saturday 15th of March 2014.
Director of Interfaith Relations (MQI) Sohail Ahmad Raza has felicitated Archbishop Sebastian Francis Shah, Catholic Church, on his appointment as Archbishop by the Vatican City. The MQI’s felicitation message was conveyed in an interfaith consultation moot held under the banner of National Peace and Interfaith Network Pakistan. Sohail Ahmad Raza gave proposals on behalf of MQI to promote and expand cultural relations amongst various faiths and avoid any untoward incidents with a potential to rupture the religious harmony in Pakistan.
UK: Halqa-e-Darood - Hounslow
As a part of campaign to reorganize local chapters of Minhaj Women League (MWL), District President of MWL, Mrs. Gull-e-Rana visited PP 10-A area at the head of a delegation of MWL Rawalpindi. The purpose of reorganizing the local chapters is to inject fresh dynamism and new ideas to promote Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri’s message of democratic, peaceful change at the grassroots.
Relief goods such as water, food grain, medicine, clothes and other necessities of life are being dispatched to far-flung areas of Thar with the help of the people. Minhaj Welfare Foundation has, so far, distributed relief goods of worth Rs. 6 million among 500 Hindu and 500 Muslim families.
The Multan chapter of Mustafavi Students Movement (MSM) took out a rally to spread awareness among the student community. Central President of MSM Chaudhry Irfan Yousaf led the rally, which kicked off from ‘Fawara Chowk’ and culminated at ‘New City’. The purpose of the rally was to sensitize the students about ills of the electoral system that was at the heart of pyramid of challenges the country found itself trapped in. A large number of students from various educational institutions of Multan attended the rally.
Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri is an economist and socio-political scientist with a PhD degree in Economics. He has, so far, authored over a dozen books on different subjects including agriculture, energy crisis, SAARC region, international politics and economics. Briefing the delegates, Dr Hussain Qadri said that Minhaj-ul-Quran International is a global movement working along scientific lines for promotion of peace, interfaith dialogue and harmony in the world. He said that MQI had been rendering exemplary services in various fields including education, and welfare.
In her talk, Mrs. Razia Naveed appreciated MWL Gujranwala for its marvelous role in making MQI and PAT events successful through their active participation from December 23 to May 11. She listed the achievements of MWL and said that these successes were owed to their dedication and commitment. She said that the dream of real change could not be fulfilled without reforming the system of elections and politics. She said that the corrupt system protected the interests of the moneyed classes to the detriment of the poor.
Addressing the rally, Sardar Shakir Mazari said that the government’s insistence on the option of talks in response to a flurry of terrorist incidents in the country was both ridiculous as well as dangerous. He said that the nation expected of the government to take action against those who had challenged the writ of the state, killed thousands of people including security forces and destroyed national installations. He said that the policy of reaction at the place of action was responsible for taking things to this level where they had come. What exacerbated the problem was the government’s inability to trace the root of the menace of terrorism and determine the reality of mischief of terrorism, he said.
Minhaj-ul-Quran International launched “Aaeen Deen Sekhain” (Let us learn religion) course for women from the 8th of March 2014 onwards at Minhaj-ul-Quran Educational and Cultural Center NJ. The purpose of the course is to equip the women with the real teachings of Islam and make them aware about their rights
