On 4th October 2013, Jamia Masjid Minhaj-ul-Quran held a parents evening for the young children who attend the education centre in Nelson. The evening was organised to inform parents of their children’s progress over the last year
Addressing the ceremony, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri congratulated the MQI workers of Nowshera Virkan and Gujranwala on the establishment of Islamic Centre. He hoped that the Centre would play a meaningful role in spreading education in the area. He recalled that Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri set up Minhaj Education Society in 1994 to educate the youth in an attempt to make them productive members of the society.
On the 22 September 2013, with all the Blessings of Allah Almighty, Minhaj Women League organised a programme on the topic of ‘’The Need and Importance of the Love for the Prophet (SWS) in present age’’.
Razia Naveed, in her lectures, lauded all those who participated in the historic public meeting of December 23, 2012 and in the Long March and May, 11, 2013 (Election Day) sit-ins across the country. She felicitated the participants of these events on getting the title of ‘Mustafavi Workers’ by Shaykh-ul-Islam. She asked the women to repose full trust in the leadership of Shaykh-ul-Islam and follow his teachings, which were based upon the golden principles of Islam.
President of MQI Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that there is a need to distribute love among the humanity. He said that the word ‘coexistence’ would have to be replaced by ‘love’, for the former denotes the performance of an act under compulsion not out of willingness. He said that this is what constituted the message of Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, which was being popularized in the world. He said that a relationship marked by love, peace and respect would have to be forged to eliminate extremism, and hatred in the world.
Only education can reform society: Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League
Addressing an organizational and training workshop held under the banner of Minhaj Women League, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman of MQI’s Supreme Council, has said that the revolutionary agenda of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri is not the product of the present age. It rather dates back to 1972 when even MQI had not come into being nor were there any MQI workers. Dr Qadri conjured up the broad contours of the revolution at that time.
The Hague (September 15m 2013): A couple of weeks ago, Minhaj-ul-Quran International (The Hague) became the proud owner of a new building which can now provide for the religious, spiritual and cultural needs of the Dutch Muslim Community.
Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that Dr Qadri had given a call to prayer (Azan) in the form of the Islamabad Long March and historic sit-in. Now only the ‘jamaat’ was left to be led and once it happened, it would see the demise of the corrupt and elitist system which was at the heart of predicaments facing the people. He said that it was important to knock on every door to convey Dr Qadri’s message to the masses at the grass-roots. He said that the workers of PAT should not rest until they made Pakistan the country of Jinnah’s ideals.

He said that there is a need of training the youth and students in addition to imparting them knowledge in the Pakistani society. He said that it is important for the students not only to become professionals, engineers, lawyers, judges, and doctors but also the faithful slave of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
A three-member central team of MWL, comprising General Secretary Razia Naveed, Deputy General Secretary Ayesha Shabbir and Secretary ‘Da’wat’ Sayyida Nazia Mazhar Hashimi visited eight districts of the country from September 5 to 8. PAT President said that PAT had given time to the current government to deliver and resolve people’s problems otherwise they should remember that they would meet the same fate as their predecessors. He said that we were entering phase two of our struggle, further saying that new membership campaign was underway to elicit the support of 10 million new members.
War is not a solution to any problem. It entails huge destruction in man and material. Therefore, peace is the only way forward to resolve inter-state and intra-state conflicts. The threats to global peace emanate from non-state actors who want to impose their agenda on peaceful and civilized world and there is a need for all peace loving people to come together to thwart the designs of all such elements. Peace, reconciliation and harmony are a shared message of all religions and this goal should be pursued with extreme dedication and commitment.
On 8th September (Sunday), Peer Naqeeb-ur-Rehman of Darbar-a-Aaliya Muhammadiaya Eidgah Shareef, Rawalpindi visited the mega project site in Bradford. He was accompanied by a large gathering of his followers during the visit who came all the way from across the Yorkshire region.
On Sunday 8th September 2013, a ladies’ ‘Giyarvee Sharif Mehfil’ was held at Jamia Masjid Minhaj-ul-Quran, Nelson. There was a large turnout of members from the community, and also the surrounding towns of Brierfield and Burnley (approximately 250 ladies).
On Sunday 8th September, Peer Naqeeb ur Rehman of Darbar-a-Aaliya Muhammadiya Eidgah Shareef, Rawalpindi Pakistan visited the Mega Project site in Bradford. They were accompanied on the tour of the site with a large gathering of his followers who has come from across the Yorkshire region. Peer Naqeeb ur Rehman Sahib was warmly greeting and welcomed by Allama Muhammad Afzal Saeedi, President of Minhaj ul Quran International National Executive Committee and the Head of the Mega Project in Bradford.

Impending war on Syria part of global agenda: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri addresses Sunni Conference in UK
The Muslim community needs to rise above their narrow differences and forge unity and brotherhood in their ranks without any further loss of time otherwise they will continue to fall prey to internal and external conspiracies and will ultimately be eliminated from the face of earth. The only solution to sectarian differences among the Muslims is to comply with the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) both in letter and spirit. These views were expressed by Shaykh-ul-Islam while addressing international ‘Tajdar-e-Khatm-e-Nabuwwat’ Conference in Birmingham.
After detailed consultation with the central leadership and workers, Shaky-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has appointed Khurram Nawaz Gandapur as a new Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. He has taken over the responsibilities of new office. Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and the central leadership of PAT and MQI congratulated Khurram Nawaz Gandapur on assumption of the office and wished him best of luck.
