Protest against anti-Islam film
In his telephonic address to the participants of the rally, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the making of profane and blasphemous film is not only a step aimed at hurting the emotions of 1.5 billion Muslims in the world but also a heinous conspiracy to damage the global peace and harmony. He said that all three religions namely Islam, Christianity and Judaism revolve around the holy personages of the Holy Prophet (SAW), Jesus Christ and Hazrat Musa (A.S.). Both the Holy Quran and Bible not only condemn such sacrilegious acts but also regard them as the biggest crime of universe because it is not only the Holy Quran but also Bible which was the first Book, which condemned and forbade blasphemy of prophets and Divine Books.

Faith leaders for action against blasphemers, urge interfaith harmony
Addressing a seminar on respect of religions, which was held under the banner of Directorate of Interfaith Relations, Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi, Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, has said that those who sanctify democracy and boast about respect for human rights are pushing the world towards a clash in the name of freedom of expression. He termed this attitude as criminal pregnant with grave implications for the world peace.

Dinner & Mehfil-e-Sama - Denmark
The controversial theologian Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri yesterday entered Copenhagen with the message that Islam stands for democracy and peace between religions.
On Tuesday Tahir-ul-Qadri will be speaking to an antiradicalization conference in Copenhagen. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri paid an official visit to Denmark for one week. During the visit, on the 7th September 2012, the Minhaj Women League and Minhaj Youth League hosted a dinner, in which there was a large number of executives and members of the public in attendance.
Addressing the Fatwa launching ceremony, Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that Islam is a religion of peace, which teaches respect for humanity, socio-economic justice, fair play and welfare irrespective of any discrimination of caste, creed, colour or race. He said that its followers have even been ordained to take care of rights of animals and plants what to speak of those of the humanity.

The monthly spiritual gathering of MQI was organized on September 6 on the roof of Gosh-a-Durood. The proceedings of the programme got underway after Isha prayers. Faiz-ur-Rehman Durrani, Amir of MQI, presided over the gathering, whereas Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi, Mufti Abdul Qayyum Khan Hazarvi, Prof Muhammad Nawaz Zafar, Rana Idrees Qadri, the office holders of Minhaj Women League and people from across the Lahore city attended the programme in large number.
Shaykh-ul-Islam to address European Peace Conference on September 9
European Peace Conference 2012 is being organized in Copenhagen on September 9 under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Denmark. The chief highlight of the Conference is the keynote address of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, the founding leader and patron-in-chief of MQI that he would deliver to multi-faith audiences comprising people from different walks of life.
