Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Victoria chapter) arranged the splendid Birthday function of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri on 19th of February 2012. The ceremony took place at the residence of Mr. Hussnain Farquleet.
A special prayer ceremony was held on the intervening night of 18th and 19th of February to mark the 61st birthday of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. The ceremony was organized under the banner of Directorate of Training and Dawa of MQI. Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi, Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, presided over the central programme of the Quaid Day.
Oslo- On 19th February, Aqil Qadir, Deputy Secretary of MQI Norway, called on Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and presented him with translation of three of his books which had been translated into the Norwegian language.

On 15 February 2012, Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Halifax organized their 18th annual event to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Milad-un-Nabi (SAW). The event took place at the Raven Street Community Centre Halifax and was attended by approximately 400 women.

Sahibzada Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of MQI’s Federal Council, and Allama Ramzan Qadri were the chief guests at the ceremony.
History was made in Balmeek Temple when the Mawlid-un-Nabi (SAW) gathering was held in its courtyard. The temple reverberated with the chants of Naat and greetings and salutations on the Holy Prophet (SAW). The cake was cut on the occasion to mark the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (SAW).
A grand Peace Walk was held on Sunday, February 12th 2012, on the auspicious occasion of the birth of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him). The annual march was attended by Muslims from different local and national organizations and mosques across Denmark.
