Khawaja Muhammad Nasim, president MQI Austria, called on Austrian Interior Minister Madam Fekter last week. The core theme of this round-table discussion was “Social Integration of Muslims in Austria”. Remarkable thing of this discussion was that President of Minhaj-ul-Quran Austria was the only representative from Pakistani Muslim Community who was invited by the minister to exchange views with her on the subject.

On November 1 2010, Minhaj-ul-Quran Youth League France has organized an exceptional video game contest. The game chosen for this tournament was « Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 », the famous soccer game, well known all over the world among the youth in general and the football lovers in particular.

(r) Iqbal Ahmad and naib Nazim-e-Ala G.M. Malik. Secretary Information of MQI Qazi Faiz-ul-Islam, Director Public Relations Jawad Hamid, Programme Officer ICRC Zia-ur-Rehman, Muhammad Younis and Najam-ul-Haq were also present on the occasion.
Islam stands for peace, love and human dignity and there is no room for terrorism in Islam. This was stated by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, in a powerful speech to a gathering of thousands of British Muslims at the Global Peace & Unity event on 24 October 2010.

Directorate of Training of Minhaj-ul-Quran International has launched special ‘Learn Religion’ courses throughout the country for the practical training of the workers, associates and members of MQI. A one-day training camp was held in Karachi on October 24, 2010 to prepare teachers for these courses.

On October 21, 2010, local chapter of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Kamonki was reorganized. Ms. Sajida Sadiq, Naib Nazima of Women League, was the chief guest on the occasion. The ceremony was also attended by old and new office holders of MWL, besides a large number of women from the area.

Speaking on phone from Canada, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that MQI which started its operations from Lahore 29 years ago has turned into a global movement with its network and branches spread across five continents. It is the biggest movement of the Islamic world, which is busy promoting Islamic message of love, peace, harmony and interfaith dialogue in the world.

A farewell ceremony was held on October 15, 2010 (Friday) in the honour of Pakistani-Minhajian students who completed their studies from the world-renowned Al-Azhar University during session 2009-2010. Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, president of MQI’s Supreme Council, presided over the ceremony, while Dr Hafiz Ghulam Muhammad Qamar Al-Azhari also attended the programme.
